We love Dr. Canalas and the entire staff at Canalas Orthodontics! All three of our sons will always have beautiful smiles thanks to them!

Canales Orthodontics is the best choice for orthodontic care. My family has used Dr Angie and Chris for the past 4 years, and would highly recommend their services to anyone who would like to be treated like family. They truly care for the patient and the extended family as well. My daughter was blessed with the opportunity to work at the Alabaster location after she graduated from THS. If you are evaluating orthodontic care, you would be wise to visit a Canales Orthodontic location near you.

I’ve had my braces since August of 2017 and got them off Jan 2019. I can say without a doubt I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with braces than the one I had at Canales Orthodontics. The entire staff is so friendly. And both Doctor (Mr and Mrs) Canales are extremely knowledgeable and down to earth. These people treated me incredibly and everyone is extremely sweet and friendly they feel more like friends than they do strangers. And my teeth have turned out perfect too! I honestly wish I could recommend them more than just writing this review.

I haven't had a bad experience with Canales. They are very sweet people. They know their patients by name. They're just really genuine people.

We have been so pleased with everyone at Canales! We have had consultations every 6 months for 2 years for my daughter before finally getting her braces in May. They were mindful of how she was developing and didn't put the braces on until her mouth was ready. We can't say enough wonderful things about everyone there.

Our son Mark, 13, is seen at the Gardendale office. The entire staff makes his visits so pleasant. He always looks forward to going! His favorite part is choosing which color rubber bands he will have. When I have our youngest son with me he enjoys the model train that runs through the office. Our daughter Nora, who is 8, had some preliminary evals done and had some very successful treatment following Dr C’s recommendations. I felt very confident in the direction he wanted to go with her treatment.

Once again this wonderful business has done it! Wearing Invisalign and had a button come off, I called and they got me in immediately. Repaired 2 buttons, one they noticed while i was in the chair. They always amaze me with their friendly atmosphere, prompt service and eye for detail. Highly recommend!!!❤️

Both of my children have been patients at Canales Orthodontics in Gardendale and we have had a great experience!

My daughter is still young and we are preparing for braces. The doctors and staff at Canales have been so helpful in looking at her mouth and examining her growth and development to come up with a plan to monitor and prepare her for her orthodontic work. They talk to her on her level and answer all of my questions (even the silly ones!)

GARDENDALE, AL OFFICE. - Both Dr. Cs are absolutely wonderful. My daughter felt comfortable and at ease under their care. The office staff and assistants were caring and helpful. Even when the insurance benefits company were not the most cooperative, Canales took the time to help sort it all out. I would recommend them to every one. -

Both of my daughters are clients of Canales orthodontics. My oldest has just recently come out of her braces and we are so proud of her beautiful smile . Can't wait until myother dtr comes out of her braces to see her smile. When we were first referred to Canales orthodontics Dr C recommended that we wait a while longer and it was almost 18 months before my oldest was ready . I appreciated that .

Dr. C and Dr. A are very conservative in their approach and only recommend treatment as needed. My daughter has had a great experience at every visit because they make her feel confortable and informed.

We were greeted by a warm and friendly staff who answered all of our questions and concerns. We met with Dr. Canales and he was just as warm and friendly as the staff. He took time with my son and I to explain things that we were going to watch and wait on. He didn’t try to rush us or push us into braces like some other orthodontists do. We will continue to check progress of his teeth and overbite and decide together if and when we need to take that step. If we need to they will work with us with a payment schedule. I can’t ssy enough what a wonderful experience we had!

My daughter is a newer patient of Canales Orthodontics. After her consultation visit, we met one on one with the doctor, who was very honest with us. In her opinion my daughter wasn't quite ready for braces, she needed to lose all her baby teeth and had more growing to do. She explained that she would like to monitor her, which would be at no cost to me! How many other orthodontists would have put a set of braces on her anyway? Dr C explained if she put braces on her now, it would be a multi step process and be very expensive. I felt like she had our best interests at heart! Also at the appointment I had my younger two children (5 and 2) and when the staff noticed they were getting rowdy, they took them to another room and played with them so I could talk one on one with Dr C and ask any questions. This office is top notch, I'm so glad we chose Canales Orthodontics!!

My 8 year old went for a consultation a few months ago. Braces were not forced on us and not even recommended for a few more years. They are very conservative in treating patients when they are ready. Love the doctors and the staff!

The Canales, Dr. C and Dr. A, are undoubtedly the best orthodontists in Birmingham. I consulted with a total of 4 orthodontists before selecting the Canales as my doctors. It was a fantastic choice. 3 years of treatment and, in the end, I am still as happy and confident in the choice as I was at the beginning. Great people, great staff, they will always listen and ask your take, but are very wise and helpful in all of your visits. Can't recommend enough.

My family and I currently use Canales Orthodontics at their Gardendale location. I'm so happy with my decision to trust our orthodontic care with the team at Canales. My 13yr old is currently under their care and I just got my braces off today! I will also be taking my 11yr old for his eval next week. I can't say enough great things about Dr.A, Dr.C and their amazing staff! They are always extremely accommodating and Ive never had to wait longer than 5min before my son or myself was taken back. They are all very professional yet extremely personable and they pay attention to every little detail. So happy with my results!

Dr A & Dr C are some of the best around! They are more than knowledgable in their field but even more importantly they are wonderful people who truly care for their patients and staff. I highly recommend them!

There are not enough wonderful things that can be said about Canales orthodontics. This is without a doubt the place to go for superior orthodontic treatment. Dr. Chris & Dr. Angie, along with their entire team, go above and beyond for every single patient. Within only 5 minutes of knowing them, I was treated like family. I am currently 25 years old, and I had braces before as a child. But even after their removal in the 6th grade, I still felt self-conscious about my smile knowing as I got older that something still did not look right. I got several opinions at multiple orthodontic offices around Birmingham, but everyone kept saying I would have to wear braces again for 3-5 years. However, no one was giving me an explanation about why something still looked wrong with my smile even after my previous experience of 3 years of braces, wearing my retainer appropriately, and taking good care of my teeth. Canales Orthodontics was the only orthodontic team to really look into the problem. They immediately realized that I had a jaw issue that needed to be corrected surgically accompanied by a short orthodontic treatment. I never would have known that I had this jaw problem if I had not come to them, and I would have lived forever not understanding why I felt that my smile appeared incomplete. Now, after the surgery and a quick year in braces, I have never felt better. I actually feel confident knowing that my teeth look more beautiful than ever. After 13 years of being embarrassed and wondering why it looked that way, this excellent staff gave me the smile I have always dreamed of having. I will never be able to thank them enough!

Office is conviently located. All office staff is super friendly and always willing to help with any questions or concerns. Both orthodontists keep me up to date on my child's treatment progress and have done a great job! I would recommend anyone needing orthodontic treatment to go to Canales.
