The Acupuncture Therapist explains what will take place after getting some vital information about your visit. They take the time to make sure your comfortable . I have less back pain & migraine headaches after a few weeks of acupuncture & able to sleep much better. I'll continue this as long as my insurance lets me.

I'm confused to why dr yang is prescribing medications when i thought i was going to a natural medicine dr. he didn't spend enough attention or time for the amount of $ charged. I've been to other places and they spend more time. Treatments were a waste of time and money because they didn't even work.

I was in a bad situation and Dr. Yang helped me to find my way out of it. I am very thankful to him for helping me when I needed it most.

Rebecca, at the front desk, is the nicest person I've met! She and Erin are both very accommodating to all my schedule needs. Edmund is the best when it comes to treating me with acupuncture! He answers all my questions and continues to inform me as to the steps we should take in my ongoing treatment. He is kind, funny and extremely intelligent when it comes to his profession.

Really great doctor. He helped my child a lot through a period where he was experiencing a lot of pain. Things are much better now. Other doctors would just give medicine and that didn't work. But Dr. Yang has a more individualized approach. I often chatted with teens and parents in the waiting room who had been through exceptionally tough times (including hospitalization) and their lives were transformed. We had to pay out of pocket because our insurance wouldn't cover it but it was worth it.

The staff at Yang Institute , as always, was very respectful and courteous. Dr Yang was also very respectful and helpful. I am considering adding acupuncture to my visits to Yang Institute

Professionalism and patience.

Their website states which insurance they accept. When you call, they deny accepting any insurance. Then proceed to list the times along with their prices. Absurd. You should be ashamed of yourselves

We are seeing Dr. Yang for two of our children. One child has anxiety and the other suffers from: auto-immune conditions (incl. PANDAS), Lyme, EBV, and Multiple Chemical Sensitivity. Dr, Yang has the intelligence and expertise that we have been looking for. He understands all of our health issues and he truly understands the methylation cycle. Dr. Yang explained to us its impact on our children and how it is a contributing factor to the health issues we are experiencing. We are so grateful to have someone of Dr. Yang’s caliber as our doctor. He is resolving our medical issues. Dr. Yang always gives us his time and attention. He listens to our observations and concerns and factors them in. His staff is equally attentive. I usually speak with Rebecca, and she has always been very helpful, pleasant, and efficient. There is a cohesiveness in the office, the staff work well together. The Yang Institute gives us the support we need to heal our children.

He is extremely expensive and only cares about money. For acupuncture, he charges double for putting needles on your front and back. Once he had me come in for a visit for a simple test explanation that took 2 min and tried to charge me at least $150 for it. I could go on but you get the point.

I feel right at home when going to Yang Institute. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable. If they don't understand about or have an issue with my Veterans benefits, they ask for my assistance. They let me know when they're going to apply for a new referral or if they are having issues receiving a new referral. Dr. Gong is very smart & understanding. She listens to your concerns, asks about your pain & any other health issues & stressors. She makes sure you're comfortable. I do recommend perhaps getting some sort of electronic buzzer (like what is used in hospitals) for when the patients need the Dr while laying on bed with needles, since we can't get up, just in case, for instance, the space blanket falls off or something is wrong, so we don't have to yell for the Dr & disturb other patients getting treatment. Otherwise, I'm very happy that I'm being given this opportunity thru the VA to receive Acupuncture & cupping, whereas in the civilian medical care system, this service is not covered through my other insurance (Medicaid). Unfortunately, most recently, my care was interrupted again due to the VA's delay in providing more referrals to Yang Institute, which causes my pain to increase. This proves that the services & care that Yang Institute provides really does work. Thank you.

Dr Gong, Qinhua, LAc is awesome! I’m a veteran with several issues. Instead of only taking the pain killers, which I have done for several years this is awesome! Working through the VA hurdles to have this treatment done is worth it, for me. I would recommend this place to veterans, and family over and over! I cannot say enough about holistic medicine! Rebecca at the front desk is outstanding, she will assist with getting the information to you and works to make sure your insurance is well informed. Some private insurance will cover acupuncture!

Absolutely great service! I came to see Dr. Yang with chronic pain issues and within 10 acupuncture visits I went from a 8-9 pain scale to a 3-4. I can walk longer distances and have a lot more energy. Highly recommend!

I do not have enough words to thank the staff and the great service that doctor Yang provides he goes above and beyond to make you feel your best. I feel extremely complete ever since I started seeing him for my thyroid, Wilson’s temperature síndrome. For 4 years I have struggled, every doctor telling me it’s fine your TSH is normal. Dr yang took the time to look further and I have seen the results in weeks I feel awesome and I have my energy and tribe back to be able to have fun and enjoy my kids. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Thank you Dr. Yang. !! You truly are the best !!!
