I really hate to give Dr Murray one star bc I love HIM! I have been going to him since I was little, my immediate family has been actually, & he’s awesome. The one star is for his staff, cause baby they are HORRENDOUS. They never answer the phone, & are very unprofessional & incompetent! I got some teeth pulled one day & they gave me SOMEONE else’s prescription… luckily I already had meds at home I could take. I have been calling ALL week during business hours & no one has answered, & you can’t even leave a voicemail bc everyone’s mailbox is full! Dr Murray needs to clean house & start from scratch!!!

Joseph (JD) is the absolute worst dentist I have ever been to. He was completely rude, dismissive, disrespectful, unfriendly, unprofessional, and did a bad job on my teeth. The best word I would describe him is an a**hole. Besides the lady who explains the treatment plans (I forgot her name), his staff is incompetent and slow. I am too angry to go into all the details. And now I have to figure out how to get my teeth fixed.

I first start going to Dr. Murray in 1990. He ws a great dentist..Don't know what happen my wait is always long..Each time I go they x-ray my teeth because they can't find my x-rays .Dr Murray was re cementing my bridge and was very ruff. When I got home I was developing a mouth full of blisters it ws painful. I called the office and and was told what to put on my lower lip which ws full of blisters. It took about a week to heal. The next month I saw Dr Blanchard because of insurance change. I had 2 fillings which I thought was simple. He ws so ruff even after he gave me some novacaine my jaw was hurting..he continued to work on my teeth . when I got home my tonque was scratched and the filling was not smooth and ws rubbing against my tonque I called to get an appointment but Dr. Blanchard only works on Mondays. I ws seen by and Dental assistant and she was able to fix my filling and after I ask her about my tonque she told me to rinse with salt and water. 2 bad experiences that should have never happen.. Don't understand what happened throughout the years I am very disappointed

I had Avery good experience and my hygienist Nene was wonderful and to add to that Dr Murray was awesome and his help Tasha and Tim and their student on August 31st 2021. I will definitely refer others to Dr Murray I thank God for him and his staff everyone was kind nice real honest as well as beautiful inside and out thank you all very much for such a great job with my mouth.

My. My. My ! ! This Practice has gone down hill. I’ve been a patient at this office for Decades and things has went from Good to Bad. . . The Staff switches Daily. The Admin is not customer friendly ANYMORE and the Doctor seems to let them have their way. It used to be Nice, Friendly, Quality service but now they’re all about MONEY . It’s Sad and Disappointing!

In no way shape or form am I bitter or angry, just disappointed and feel the need to share my experience with this dental office. In looking for a new dentist, I setup an appointment as a new patient back in February/March of this year. For my first appointment, I waited 40 minutes until I was seen. I had to go to the reception to tell them that I was still waiting. While they were apologetic it was still unacceptable. After waiting 40 minutes, I was seen by a technician to get my xrays done. The young lady was clearly very new and required another team member to not only do it, but use me as training. This took an hour. I then waited for 15 minutes to see another technician who examined my mouth just to tell me that my teeth looked okay and that I would have to schedule another appointment to actually get my teeth cleaned. I then waited ten more minutes to actually see Dr. Murray who repeated everything the previous technician told me. I then saw the older woman receptionist before leaving to schedule another appointment to actually get my teeth cleaned and as sweet as she was, told me the system was down. She said she would call me the next morning. Following the next morning, I did not receive a call. So I called them and that same lady answered. We found a date that worked and she told me it was scheduled. As that day approached, I called just to confirm that I was still on the schedule as I did not receive any email or text confirmation. When I called, the same lady picked up the phone and said she didn't see my appointment in the system. We then find another day that works for me next week and this time I am sure that she sends an email notification. I go to the appointment and the teeth cleaning went fine. No issues. I inquire the male receptionist about teeth whitening. He gives me the prices and I say that I am interested in the in-office whitening. He checks to see if they have the materials and kits available. They don't, but he says he would give me a call when they receive more kits/materials. It's been almost 5 months and there has never been a follow-up call. The last and final interaction I have had with them was today in requesting a copy of my xrays via email. I called 10 minutes before 9 am, and requesting the xrays went smoothly. The lady told me that she would email them and if I didn't receive them, to give them a call back. I called back at 2:40 pm as I didn't see the e-mail in my inbox. Another lady answered the phone, and we review my email information then end the call. I get a call back 2 minutes later, with the lady saying she spoke to the first lady and said that she emailed me this morning. I explain that I never got it. She then tells me on the phone that the lady HAS resent it. So I say okay, and end the call. I check for for 6 minutes and call back. The lady who I spoke with in the morning answers and says with some irritation, frustration and increased volume (which I perceive as an attitude) that I still haven't received it. She says she JUST sent it, and I check my gmail and I finally receive the email. I don't think they understood my confusion as the other lady said that the email was resent while we were on the phone instead of it actually being sent six minutes afterwards. I say, "Okay, I don't have an attitude." She responds, "Neither do I." I say, "Okay.." and she hangs up. Granted I dreaded calling this dentist office to get my xrays because of all the past failed experiences I had, but there was no reason for someone to get an attitude with me, the customer/patient. I don't control Gmail traffic, so I can't tell you why I didn't receive an email, I just know I don't have it. This last interaction was the last straw for me. The customer service is sub-par and the business operates poorly. More consistency, transparency, communication and follow-up needs to happen for this dental practice.

Today feels like the first day of my life.. I went in discouraged and ashamed of my smile and also scared that my smile was gone forever...God bless Dr. Murray because i came out with the perfect smile. The work i received today is truly amazing. I was referred to Dr. Murray by a colleague and he did not disappoint. He was very polite and professional.. Took him only 15 minutes to extract and replace my smile.. I cried all the way home.. I got 4 teeth pulled and replaced the same day and i am still smiling and crying typing this. I must say i am relieved that my hiding my smile days are finally over and i will always encourage everyone who can see this post to go let Dr. Murray give you a reason to smile❤❤❤

I don't know how this office got all these five stars but i have been waiting on a crown since last year September 2020 and today is April 26, 2021 this doesn't make any sense my son has yet to receive his deep cleaning that this office was in such panic about but have yet to take any steps in getting his cleaning done i feel that it is the receptionist fault they need white people at the desk ??

I went for my scheduled cleaning today for an appointment I confirmed few days ago to find out the office was closed..at no time did I receive a cancelation notice nor request to reschedule. This was upsetting to me as I had to leave a meeting early to be on time.

I've been a patient of Dr. Alexander for many years and he always provide great service to me. I would definitely recommend this doctor because he does good quality work and stands by his work. The entire office staff is very friendly and this is definitely the office to visit for great and friendly service. Dr. Alexander and his assistant Tim are both awesome and a great team. I would truly recommend this office for your dental services and implants.

I had a root canal done and a crown placed by Dr William Alaxender DDS the crown looks like a piece of gum in my mouth and although I expressed my dissatisfaction he just ignored me, I quit going there and will have to get that crown replaced

And I wonder why I was so skeptical about patronizing this dentistry. All I will say is I DEFINITELY WILL NOT RETURN! It's horrible when you've try to patronize and your outcome doesn't meet your expectations. We must do better with CUSTOMER SERVICE and TIME MANAGEMENT.

If you are looking for dentist don't hesitate to set up appointment to see Dr. Murray. You will not only enjoy the atmosphere but you will be quite please how well Dr. Murray take care of his patient. I use to be afraid of the dentist but the method Dr. Murray use but one at ease. The whole staff very attentive. I've been patient for years my teeth are in excellent shape. You will be quite pleased.

I tried to support black business, but something told me that I should not try and do it at this dental office. I waited forever before being called back for an x-ray (The guy who did the x-ray was really nice.) The black doctor came in. He acted as if he was mad about something. He told me to open my mouth, said something to the assistant and then he walked off to see another patient, which I could also see because there is no privacy between patients. I didn't know if I was finished or not because he did not communicate with me. The Hispanic woman at the front desk has an attitude as if she owns the place. This place is GHETTO! I have NEVER experienced the level of unprofessionalism that I experienced here. NEVER again will I put my health at risk by trying to patronize a black business; race does not matter, I will from now on look for the Best care.

Dr. Murray and his staff is very nice, does their job very well. He have a lot of patients coming in and out daily. Please call and make an appointment, he have a lot of procedure and you might have to wait, so have patience he does work as quickly as possible and he does a great fantastic job. This is my first time going to Dr. Murray but so far great things come in small packages! Don’t be fooled by the exterior because the interior service is as outstanding! Clean office , everything I saw had been or was being sanitized . They really were following any and all guidelines from CDC and but the safety of myself as well as them to heart. They were listed on my preferred DDS list they Aetna and by it being black owned was another benefit for me. They got me in took my info and advised me (step by step ) on the process and what the costs are going to be. I’m excited and looking forward to our partnership with all my Dental care needs. The WORST dentist I‘ve been at. My tooth looks and feels worse than before I let that old man rush through my mouth. I had to show him three times why I was actually there smh. Besides that the practice needs a makeover it looks very old & dirty in there. Desk people were ?.So do yourself a favor and look for somebody else.

Set appt here a week in advance only to be scolded about insurance like i didnt give the receptionist my member id when i set appt. $50 charge if you cancel appt just so you know. Had a bad feeling about this place, but gave them the benefit of doubt. The had me wait in chair prepping me for two hours. Dentist saw me and hygienist. Only to be told at the end of two hours, they couldn’t take me because they were over booked. I set appt at 9 and came in on time and now they cant honor their time. Wonder if I can charge them $50. Please avoid. Parking is atrocious. People are fake!

I had a deep cleaning done this morning. I have to have one every 6 months due to my history of periodontal disease. I no longer have the disease thanks to Dr. Murray’s care. The technician that treated me this morning was outstanding. She did a great job. It was almost painless. They have an outstanding dental practice.

Typically I have all good things to say but today I am writing this requested review as I continue to sit here and wait for service. I finally made it to the back and yet I still wait. I called this morning as I chipped my front tooth last night. I was told to come in as a walk-in up until 10am. I arrived at 9:38am and say in the waiting area, and I was finally called to the back at 1:10pm. It is now 1:39pm and nothing has been done as of yet. Again this is my regular dentist office if 12+ years but today I am frustrated at this timed service. Had I known I would spend my entire day here today I would have just scheduled an appointment and not wasted this time just sitting and waiting just to wait some more. I’m hopeful that I will be serviced soon. ...still waiting for service Roselyn Z.

I really appreciated this friendly and professional staff on both of my initial encounters. The office was nice enough to reach out to me as soon as they found an opening so that I didn't have to wait a month to be seen. I had the best dental hygienist visit EVER!! Dr. Murray has this young lady, Keasha, whom I am told is temporary or part-time. She is a real bonus for his staff. She was friendly; helpful with my concerns, very attentive regarding my comfort; had a gentle and easy touch while still scraping and cleaning down into my gum line. My teeth looked and felt SO Fresh and So Clean! I had no idea that this procedure could be a pleasant experience. Every dental office should have someone like this. I hope she will someday become a dentist or oral surgeon.
