I've been going to family tree for a couple of years now and I absolutely love them. The dental hygiene, Lisa and the assistant Danielle where amazing with my 1yr. And the dentist was awesome with her as well. Definitely would recommend

They are amazing with my children ages 6 and 2. They make them feel included and safe. They educate and explain everything they do.

Dr. Allen is a good dentist. Seems like he enjoys his work and does a good job. Office staff were friendly too.

Bri & Dr. Allen did an excellent job on my wife's procedure today.

At first, I thought this place was amazing, however after waiting since March to get my dentures, my mind has changed and it hurts my heart. I started this adventure in March and since then I have been given excuses and even lied to. I went last week after waiting two months to get my second fitting done, however when I got in the chair, and not anytime before this I was shocked to find out we had to do step one all over again. Nobody called before I arrived nor did anyone pull me aside to tell me they had a mishap with my teeth from the lab. When I tried to talk to the dentist, I was told things happen and he shoved the purple and orange mix in my mouth and walked off.. I was gagging and could not breath because it was literally closing off my air. The assistant being new asked the other girl what to do she said just make her lean forward.. it didn't stop there, finally they get the mold again and tell me they should be back in 10 days. I walk to get my appt and they tell me the 28th. What makes this more upsetting is I told them when I arrived in March I had a vacation coming up in June and would like them done by then..well that didn't happen as my first fitting was July 23rd. But now I have a vacation in two days and I am unable to eat and still will not have a pretty smile for family pictures. I feel this is because I have medical card, because had I had private insurance, I know I would already have my teeth. ***Update*** 10/25/21 This was the acme office. Where I went again today and finally had my second setting, Where I told them the teeth looked huge and was told they will grind down . I felt they were too big for my mouth. I will see in a few weeks. I felt rushed and not listened to once again.At this point, I feel as if you do not get heard in this office.. and I feel as if I am going to be disappointed with the end result.

I was extremely pleased with the procedure that Dr. Allen and Bri perform today. And as in the past, the staff was extraordinarily friendly and put me at ease immediately upon arriving for my appointment. Oddly enough I look forward to my next appointment to complete my crown.

I got my first crown today, and thanks to Dr. Luke and Bri the experience was okay. Although a getting a crown is never fun, they were great at explaining the process and calming my nerves. I appreciate their professionalism and patience.

12,000 and very poorly fitting dentures. Dr. Love joy put implants in and they fell out. Bottom dentures never fit correctly even with implants which they would never clip on to. Dr. Love joy put a strip of adhesive paper to dentures because they were too big and slipped around on gums. He said “that’s the best I can do” Don’t forget waste your money.

Staff was awesome and first honest dentist I’ve dealt with in 20 years. Dr. Hickman was a true professional, thorough and informative. His assistant Tara was thorough, friendly and informative. I work in the medical imaging field and am impressed with the advanced x-ray imaging systems they use. Completely impressed and satisfied with our visit!!!

I have had several visits at Family tree and they are amazing!! I am a nervous dental patient and they take great care of me. They presented me with a complete treatment plan at my first visit and I have been slowly having the work done. They are kind and gentle even during difficult procedures. I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Allen and the staff at this office.

Coming from an old country doctor, this was such a great experience. They are using such modern techniques that I think my teeth will be happy as I move forward with them. I want to give a shout out, to Danielle, for taking care of me so awesomely. I will definitely be coming back

I wondered how it would be after Dr. Mason moved on to WVU and I have found the new owners to be exceptional. Lisa is a great hygienist. The Drs. and staff are very professional and this office won't do unnecessary dental work to make money. Fair.

I am a new patient with Family Tree Dental and just had my first appointment last Friday. I was extremely pleased with the Dentist I saw, Dr. Tye, and Aiden. Both were very professional and kind, taking my concerns and questions seriously and answering them fully. I felt very comfortable and informed as we made a plan for treatment. The front office staff was also very helpful and pleasant. I'm happy to now be a patient at Family Tree Dental.

Dr. Tye was exceptional. He was very patient and explained everything in understandable terms. His compassion is obvious for his patients. His assistant Katelin was also extremely friendly and helpful. The whole experience was top of the line. Will definitely recommend these folks in the future.

I highly recommend Family Tree Dental - Rosemar. Alea took care of my x-rays, Dr. Luke gave me my exam, and Danielle and Lisa gave me a thorough cleaning. I was in and out in flash, the staff was friendly and professional, and I left one happy customer!

First time there. 4 stars. Second time as a patient this week 30 March 2021. Different doctor, a little rough. With his exam. Assistant aiden ok. I have always had problems with the old cardboard to gag on back in then1980's. Things have improved a little. Give them 4 stars today.

Friendly and caring staff. I switched to Family Tree a few years ago on the advice of a family member and my only regret is that I hadn’t switched years ago! I don’t know everyone, but Tina at the front is super sweet and the X-ray people have always been kind. They take time to answer questions without seeming to mind my lack of dental education. The hygienist Beth is so knowledgeable! Updates on my oral health are consistent and she takes the time to teach me how to improve my health. I don’t remember which dentist is which, but I’ve seen possibly two of them and Dr. Ty has a great sense of humor under all the dentist knowledge. ?

Yesterday I had a cleaning appointment. Lisa conducted my cleaning as she has been doing for many years. Lisa has been my hygienist way back when Dr. Mason was my dentist. Lisa has always been so friendly and caring and is so professional with her expertise. I have always enjoyed the time we have had over the years, as well as the excellent attention to my teeth. Also yesterday Danielle assisted with my cleaning. This was my first experience with Danielle and our interaction was nothing but positive. Danielle showed respect and friendliness toward me and was very confidant in her ability to help with my cleaning. I have never had a bad experience with anyone at this office, this also includes the front line personnel and also feel confidant with Dr. Luke and Tye. Thank you again for the outstanding care.

Kaitlyn and Dr Allen were amazing. I am petrified of the dentist and they made me feel at ease with everything. Best service and best staff hands down anywhere. Also adding on to my review for my kids. Dr. Allen and Dr. Hickman plus Beth the hygienist are the best of the best. Katelin and Dr. Hickman were both knowledgeable, kind, and courteous. They both took the time to explain everything fully and answer all questions I had.

At one time I probably would have given a rating of 4* not 5* only because of the teenagers they hire to take x-rays, put temp crowns on, etc. The Dentists themselves I feel did a good job. I had extreme dental complications. The teen I had used permanent glue for a temp crown which caused my TMG to kick into high gear having to have my mouth open for over an hr for the Dr.Jordan to remove it to put my perm crown on for a further time. Another male teen (age 17) dropped my husband’s temp crown on the floor twice then blew on it. When my husband told Dr.Ty, he said their floors were cleaned every night! Does that mean we should want our crowns put in our mouth without disinfecting them? My husband and I had already discussed finding another dentist only because the 3 dentists in Parkersburg rotate between Marietta OH and Parkersburg WV and our Hygienist worked on opposite days. Plus, we wanted someone a little closer to us as we live towards Veto OH. Well, some issues came up in billing. The first issue was I was told BCBS was in their Network. My services were in 08/2020. When I received my EOB, it showed out of the network. I contacted BCBS to inquire on 09/22 after Jessica from Family Tree called me because they hadn’t got paid. I told her I had just received my EOB and a check. I had contacted BCBS and I was told by BCBS they would send me a letter with a return envelope with instructions to return the check and they would recalculate the charges for In the Network and submit a new check. i called and explained this to Jessica. i asked her to make notes for Tina. I received another EOB dated 12/23/2020. Again, out of Network! Once again, I called BCBS. They said Family Tree did not become in the Network until Sept. 2020. I received what appeared to be an excel spreadsheet with words saying, “Your account is seriously past due. Remit payment in Full or call. xxxxx. In the meantime, I explained to Tina about the In and Out of the Network issue. I told her I would go ahead and pay her, but I knew the amount that was sent to me was wrong and would cause issues, as I was still waiting on BCBS to tell me the amount I owed. Family Tree hired an Office Manager, Hannah, to take over billing. I asked her to send me a bill for both myself and my husband which was just getting his permanent crown on that day and we both had already paid our portion. Well, we received another spreadsheet. I called Hannah to explain that we hadn’t received the EOB for my husband yet. She insisted we would owe more than what was paid already. They had the submitted amount, not the approved amount. Her insistence made me so angry that I told her she was talking to me like a Dictator and I didn’t like it. I gave her my credit card number and paid the amount from both our records. We received a letter dated Jan.20, 2021 from Dr.Jordan Allen (No relation) that we were being dismissed from their practice due to verbal interactions that have been abusive. I called the office and requested a return phone call from Dr.Allen. He never called me. Well, We overpaid, which I knew would happen. If Hannah would have listed to me, this would never had happened. I think it was very poor to send us a letter of such accusations without talking to me first. Therefore, I’m giving 2 stars because the Dental work was fine, the billing incident was disastrous, the teens have no business working on someone even with dentist in another room, and the letter was uncalled for. Thank you Family Tree Dentistry for the unnecessary anxiety this has caused me.

I had Katelin and Dr.Allen my first time in FTD and they both made me feel very relaxed. I’ve never had a more professional and easy going trip to the dentist.

She took the time to go over my x-rays with me and point out all points of concern before administering advice on the personal care of my dental well-being moving forward. Great experience! I went to this Dental Clinic on 9/10/2020 for a check up. One of there Dental Assistant named Alea was so accommodating. She took good care of me. I was a very happy patient of Dr. Mason's for many years before he moved on to teach at WVU and Family Tree took over the practice. Since then, the level of quality has fallen precipitously; both in the quality of the dentistry and in the level of customer service from the more administrative aspects of the business. My family and I have cut ties with Family Tree and moved on to a different practice. The 'straw that broke the camel's back,' so to speak, were the issues with billing. I have twins and on a couple occasions they tried to submit to our insurance for one child twice and didn't for the other "because they have the same birth date and it was confusing." Then, my wife was quoted for work for a crown and they underestimated the price by over $400. We would have waited a bit to get that work done if we would have known the crown would be double what they said it would. To top it off, they said "since it was our mistake in letting you know we'll let you pay what you can every month until it gets paid off." That was reasonable. Well, they must have forgotten because after shutting down for COVID for a couple months they called my wife threatening us with Collections if we didn't pay the balance immediately. We said, "you specifically told us that since it was your fault that we could pay over time." They said, "well you should have continued to pay every month." How were we supposed to do that when they were closed and they weren't sending out bills? Unbelievable. In conclusion, if you're looking for mediocre dental work and very poor customer service here in the Mid-Ohio Valley, I would recommend Family Tree Dental Rosemar. If you're looking for a practice that cares about you and your family look ANYwhere else.

They saw me for a emergency appointment with the doctor and a student named Aiden and an assistant named Aaliyah they were wonderful I can’t say enough about how great they were kind caring truly wonderful people

I called to explain the situation of my husbands toothache, they scheduled him an emergency appointment.. although they said the patient would have to follow guidelines for Covid 19, and would have to come straight to the counter and would be asked a series of questions, we were unaware they would send him away upon arrival when he told them he had been to the beach last week. No antibiotics, no further guidance, only told him they can’t see him because “Covid 19 is scary stuff” and WV requires quarantine for 14 days after beach visits.... so I guess they expect you to die from infection because that’s way less dangerous than Covid 19? The hospital couldn’t help, they don’t have on call dentist. We thankfully got antibiotics from a doctor to hold him over until the “quarantine” period is over. Maybe we need to re-evaluate who is “essential” and “heroes” in our lives and in America.

I have pretty terrible dental anxiety. This group of dentists will make you feel safe, cared for, and understood. They'll talk you through exactly what they're doing and they discuss costs every step of the way. I am VERY happy with my decision to seek dental care from Family Tree Dental.

I love that they have early morning appointments so I don’t have to take time off work. They were very nice and quick! I was very pleased!

I have been with my dentist for 38 years and liked his practice and the people that he had working around him. When he decided to retire in 2018 family tree stepped in and took over the practice. Since then they have been good to work with on rescheduling appointments and being informative on better ways to take care of your teeth and gums. When going into the office I noticed a new energy in the place and they had done upgrades letting me know that they have plans of sticking around. No questions asked I will stay with family tree for the next 38 years.

Was very pleased with all aspects of my appointment Very courteous staff who explained in detail of all that was being done and what needed to be done -without pressure. They were also compassionate and understanding of my fears from past experiences.

Everyone was absolutely the nicest to me today even though I hadn’t been to see a dentist in several years! I was very very nervous but they made me feel comfortable and at ease with everything. Everything was explained to me as the appointment progressed even the cost of everything. I will be much less nervous next week when I go back!

Dr. Luke was so amazing! In fact, all of the staff I encountered at Family Tree Dentistry have been amazing! From the receptionist who scheduled my appointment, to the hygienist/assistant, to the dentist himself, my experience was impeccable. They helped me at a time when I was really upset from the trauma I experienced from another dentist in town who was a fan of the “white knuckle dentistry” approach. I left stopped that visit early and left in tears and terrified. Dr. Luke was able to make me comfortable and talk me through every thing he was doing and there was no pain. He numbed everything properly and did not blame me when I said I could feel the tools on my teeth. Such great practice! I tell everyone looking for a dentist to go here! Great staff! They care! Positive experience and the work they did looks amazing!
