I lovedd Shockley and his nurses they were amazing. I will be going back if I have another baby

I think he was great, I had an ectopic pregnancy and had to have an emergency surgery and he saved my tubes as well as my ovaries. He was kind, and listened to what I had to say and made my boyfriend and I feel Comfortable. I am able to try again for a baby thanks to him, I will definitely be returning to him with my next pregnancy.

Best doctor I have had. ??? friendly and nice nurses. Always the best treatment. Dr. Shockley is the best by FAR.

I like dr shockley he explains things well and in detail ... he talks a little fast though but very knowledgeable. The lady that did my inner ultra sound was very quick and gentle unlike the one at the ER.

He wouldn't let me talk, and keep making assumptions that were wrong. He would cut me off every time I tried to correct him. At one point he said, well you should be on an antidepressant, I said I was and the type, he again cut me off with "well your dose isn't high enough, it should be at least this", and I said that is my dose. He then changed what he was saying completely and started blaming my birth control, which I had stopped a year ago.

I was sending her nurse practitioner and she sent me to him to have a diagnostic laproscopy. He came into the room and said, I'm not going to do surgery on you cause you have PCOS. Which was the first thing my last THREE DOCTORS checked for and I don't have. (I did the blood test and it also came back NORMAL.) He still tries to get me to take metformin, and I tell him I'm not comfortable with taking a medication without a reason. Then he demands to do a pelvic exam and I ask why. He's reason, he literally said because he wanted too. Afterwards he tells me that If i cant even get through a pelvic exam then He won't help me. I left crying cause I was in pain and didnt do anything wrong. My new doctor is amazing, and has great manners. Dr. Shockley will only help you if you do everything he says and dont question him.

I wouldn’t see any other doctor but him. He is absolutely amazing and he delivered both my boys. I have nothing negative to say about him or his staff. He has wonderful bedside manners and is very knowledgeable and doesn’t talk over your head. He shows true concern and reassures you that everything will be okay. I refer him to everyone.

I have been seeing Dr since I returned to the area. I am an older patient and have no problems with anyone in this office. I am wondering why the complainers are men.

Delivered all 3 of my children, doesn't take any chances with the health and safety of you or your babies. Always very thorough

Staff are rude, they tell you you’ll see the doctor for your pregnancy but only let you see NP then expect you to be ok if the dr delivers you. I switched obs.

I would give him zero stars if I could. Wouldnt ever let me speak, rushed me out the door, would just leave during our appointment without asking me if there were things I needed to talk about. Put me on a heartburn medication that can make people depressed and suicidal and didnt tell me, knowing I suffered from those things. Kept telling me at 7 months pregnant I need a new doctor. Tried to scare me into a repeat csection because vbacs kill people? me and my husband both hated him. Very rude, short, fear mongeling, and wont let you speak. He transferred me to a doctor in charleston and she is phenemoneal. Thank god he is not delivering my baby. Said delayed cord clamping is bad for your baby!! ??

Doesnt listen to anything. My wife switched doctors bc hes horrible

This Dr is a Quack!! My daughter went to see him today after I called his office, she hasn't been able to hold food done and is constantly vomiting, she's very dehydrated and can barley move, I called them to let them know they need to do something and he sends her home saying she has anxiety, call another Dr, and says she needs to go to the hospital right away for iv fluids.. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this man!!!! Can you say law suit!!!

He delivered both my boys that are 4 and 1 and I’m seeing him now for my third boy whom I haven’t had yet. He is an outstanding doctor, his NP Erin Carr is wonderful as well, and his nurses and ultrasound ladies are amazing and talk to you like they could be your best friends! They are wonderful people and if I had to have someone refer themselves to any doctor it would be Shockley for sure!

Dr. Shockley is a great choice for your pregnancy, the office has an amazing staff and Shockley is top notch

Shockley is the best OBGYN I have ever been too ..he is very thorough about everything and he is quick and to the point ..he cares for his patients ... if you have questions he answers them to where you understand... he has delivered my oldest daughter whose 9 and my.soon to be newborn I couldn't ask for a better Gynocologist and his nurses are amazing

5 years ago after getting married, I started seeing Dr. Shockley with the hopes of one day staring a family. He is an amazing doctor and incredibly knowledgeable. He gets to know you and your preferences all while providing options with his best medical recommendations. We had the pleasure of having two beautiful baby girls with two very different deliveries with his assistance. Not to take away from his work in the office, the delivery room is where he shines! Despite the countless babies he has delivered in his career, you would have thought ours were the first with the genuine excitement and happiness he shared with us in those milestones of our life. Between our pregnancies we experienced a miscarriage. His support and willingness to go above and beyond in that difficult time was a blessing. His amazing staff in the office and nurses taking my countless questions are unlike any you will ever find. I would highly recommend Dr. Shockley as well as his FNP Erin Carr who I have had the opportunity to see for my yearly exam.

Smartest, most capable doctor around. Very nice and friendly, too. Listens to you. Find out who practically all of the ob nurses use....there are reasons for that! He’s the best!

Worst experience my lady has been through.

Today was my first appointment with Dr , Shockley .. I will have to say he was great. He explained everything plainly and was all around a good doctor ! Nurses were nice to.

He is very good doctor. He cares about you.

I'm on day 3 of a hysterectomy that Dr. Shockley performed, I have to say, either I am a quick healer or he is just that skilled, no pain, no bleeding, everything has been wonderful!

Dr Shockley is a wonderful doctor and literally saved my life. I had placenta previa and after second guessing the doctor I was currently with decided to switch during my pregnancy. Good thing I did. Dr Shockley put in a great effort to explain to me what the risks were, what was happening with my body, and prepare me for a possibly life threatening situation. After my placenta ruptured I had to have a c section. He could not get the internal bleeding to stop and made a judgement call to go in for a second surgery to remove my uterus. Thank god he did. It saved my life. I had to ultimately have 6 pints of blood transfused and recovered better than what he even expected. I would recommend him to ANYONE!!

I love Dr. Shockley. I've been going to him for over 5yrs now and he is a great dr.

Dr. Shockley has been my OBGYN since I moved to the area 17 years ago. He delivered both of my sons and has been the most informative and supportive doctor I have ever had. He is very good about answering questions and explaining diagnosis and treatment options. He spends time with you to make sure you are informed of all your choices He also delivered my primary care physicians children. You know when other doctors use a doctor,he must be good!

I switched to Dr. Shockley as soon as I found out I was pregnant. I have had a great experience with his office. They have been so helpful and easy to work with. The staff has been kind and I LOVE the ultrasound ladies they are awesome!!! Dr. Shockley himself is easy to talk to and answers all of my questions in a way that is easy to understand. He makes me feel comfortable and I feel like I have received attentive and thorough care. I always schedule early morning appointments and I have never had to wait more than 10- 15 minutes to go back, and I have never waited long in the office either. Because I am a pregnant patient I have not seen his NP so I can't say anything about her. I would recommend his office to anyone!

Worst Dr. ever and his Nurse Practitioner should not be allowed to be around humans! My best friend saw her and was told to taker her xanex and they'd see her in a few weeks well at this time her hemoglobin was a 7 it proceeded to drop to 6 in the next week and she ended up in hospital getting transfusions her o2 was 84% along with bleeding for 2 months straight. When she followed up with Dr. they said she really didn't know what she was talking about and were very unconcerned and showed very little concern for her. I will never ever go back there nor will I ever wish anyone to go through this there. HORRIBLE PLACE AND PEOPLE
