Camden Clark Medical Center: Emergency Room

Worst hospital I’ve ever been to in my entire life. Came in with a life threatening illness and I literally waited 6 hours in the ER on a Sunday night. One of the nurses laughed when I asked about the wait times and said they usually just hope people leave because they get tired of waiting.. WOW!

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Lady at front desk (black hair, chubby, and wears glasses) was straight up rude and did not care about the patients well-beings. I literally felt like I was going to die and she did not care, she wouldn’t look at you, she wouldn’t even stop looking at her phone. Your supposed to go to the ER when you feel like that yet she made me feel like I was wasting her time when In reality she was wasting mine. Let alone that is her job, that’s what she went to school for. Their supposed to care about your health here but doesn’t care. I could be passed out and she would still be glued to her phone. When I arrived the nurses were behind a wall laughing not caring ab the patients waiting in the waiting room or the people coming in. There was no one at the front desk at all. I definitely recommend taking the trip to belpre they treat you so much better!

I would give 0 stars if I could. I was diagnosed with Covid and went to the ER because I have bad heart palps and they were getting worse and they put me in a supply closet and left me in there for over and hour. I kept telling them to get the nurse because my heart palps were getting worse and I was hurting so bad. There was nobody in the lobby. The nurse and security guard were out in the lobby goofing around watching TV. I finally stepped out again and said I need help! The nurse was sooooo rude!!!! She was like we were waiting on a bed u need to get your mask on your face and my mask was on my face. I told them to call me an ambulance and send me to Belpre and she kept being horrible to me and told me to get out and leave! My phone was dead and the security officer wouldn't even call my husband for me so they threw me out in the freezing cold with covid and heart palps! Camden Clark is terrible!!!! Nurses are terrible go to Belpre!!!

first time ever going to this hospital. i’m positive that i’m going thru a miscarriage (my uncle is an EMT and my cousin is a CRNA) and they said it looked like miscarriage. so i came here to see what was going on. i waited in the waiting room for 2 hours then finally got called back. wasn’t back there for long at all just to be told hcg levels were low and i’m gonna be referred to an OB & i need to make an appointment with the OB asap. going to the ER here is just like going to Jackson general?

Extremely poor courtesy of calling patients family with updates, and lie about what they are giving their patients

My dad had to wait in the emergency room area for 16 hours before getting moved to a room. He only got a room then because a retired nurse made a phone call. He has cancer and was in excruciating pain. The nurses didn't do anything for him and were extremely rude. The head nurse over the area was also rude. They hardly checked on him and every time we asked for something, water, pain meds, etc. they would forget to bring it. When I asked what the problem was they said it was a shift change and they were understaffed. Extremely disappointing. I will never go back. If they can't do a better job than this they need to shut down or get new people.

Not what this place use to be that’s for sure. Pretty sure the lied about calling my Specialist who is on call for the hospital in case of an emergency. I came in on this day because I was told if I didn’t get better with my condition to come in. Took 4 tries to get a needle in my because I’m so dehydrated. I didn’t even get one bag in of IV before they said you fine go home. I took a picture of the IV bag. 1/3 left still. Doctor left the room said he would contact my doctor. Wasn’t even 2 mins nurse comes in with papers go home and follow up with your doctor in Aug???? I came in here last year with the same health problems (long term condition) and was taken care and made sure I was better before I left. Took me longer to drive here from my home town then what I was seen. Guess because of Covid all other health issues don’t matter. I was hospitalized for 3 days last time and this time was worse. I won’t be coming back here again. If I find out that my specialist wasn’t contacted as directed I’ll be suing.

Doctors falsified my patient notes and more. Dont come to this facility with any serious illness. This place needs shut down. They will kill people.

I have been sitting in the ER waiting room for the past two hours. I’m pregnant and violently vomiting unable to hold anything down. Nothing is being done.

I wouldn't take my dog to this place. Its far the worst best to go to.

Compared to other hospitals in the area, this is by far the best. Caring friendly staff, and great care.

Under staffed big time

This is a terrible ER. I was transferred to their facility from MedExpress. I went in with my leg broken in two places, wrapped in an ACE bandage. They didn’t even bother to apply a proper soft cast, which is why I was transferred there. Instead, I was prescribed narcotics and given a lecture on the dangers of addiction. They said that I would be seen by a orthopedist in 1-3 days. Then, they informed the orthopedist office that there was no hurry, which meant that I wasn’t seen FOR MY BROKEN LEG for a week. When I arrived at the orthopedist office, they asked about my sore ankle, because that is what this ER told them. I didn’t have a sore ankle. I have two broken bones. The orthopedist was mortified that I had gone a week without a cast. This is the service that I received at this facility. They don’t care about treating the causes, only the symptoms.

Biggest joke of an emergency room I've ever encountered in my life! Will never ever go there again! Waited 2 hours (guessing cause I have private insurance) was taken into an exam room, a Physicians Assistant came in pressed around where I was in severe pain ordered xrays. Then after xrays I was taken I to a "results waiting room" where your are put in a little room with all the sick patients. A nurse came in that room in front of everyone and told me my results and gave me prescriptions told me i could go!! No blood work, no urine sample nothing! Didnt even get to see the PA again! I dont know how they stay in business!

Very rude doctor would never go back their again would go to belpre Ohio first
