Brentwood Pediatric Dentistry

The staff always does such a great job of taking care of my 3 boys! They really know how to make them feel comfortable and safe. Recently my youngest had a cavity filled and he didn’t even flinch because they did such a great job of making him feel comfortable and no pain.

The staff were so mean and unfriendly. Unfortunately just because I'm foreign. Only the Dr. Was nice.

I have had the good fortune of having Dr. JD and Dr.Ryan in Brentwood Peditric dentistry for a very long time. They had taken care of my three children. They had done route canals and crowns, fix broken teeth you name it. We trust his work and his advice completely, and all of his work has been outstanding. I highly recommend!!!

Everyone was wonderful today at Brentwood Pediatric Dentistry❣️ Because of all the construction and traffic between Cool Springs and Freedom Middle School we were late, but they still saw us. I’m so thankful that I found Brentwood Pediatric Dentistry to take care of my granddaughter. Thank you all!!!

We have been coming to this office, and Dr Cregger, for years, and have always been very happy! I am disappointed that we are going to move to another dentist, where the entire staff that will be working in my child’s mouth is vaccinated! We will miss you all!

The staff was so friendly. We had zero wait time. We walked in and were instantly taken back! They made sure we understood each option we had for treatment and had so much patience for both my little ones!!

Love this office! We've been seeing Dr. Ryan for years now. His office is very friendly and he is great with kids. My kids have also grown to love Dr. JD Shadburne. He is awesome with kids. My 5 year old is difficult to keep still and comfortable but loves seeing Dr. JD. He is super friendly, compassionate and always makes my kids feel safe. Always such a pleasant experience. My little boy loves going to the dentist. A movie, cool sun shades, flavored toothpaste, and a little treat at the end… he loves it! The staff has always been nothing but kind and helpful.

Our visit today will be our last! Our 18 month old toddler had already been for 3 visits and this visit was already decided to be a cleaning. Upon arrival both the nurse and dentist asked if it was his 1st time and had no idea why he was there. I was thinking in my head, do they not keep records like every other dental office?? Furthermore, we had seen the dentist previously because one of our son’s front teeth was cracked, the dentist said as long as there weren’t any signs of infection it shouldn’t be a cause of great concern. On this visit a different dentist said the tooth was at high risk of infection (the tooth still shows no signs of infection whatsoever) and needed to be removed immediately!! 2 different dentists at the same office gave completely different recommendations on what should be done!! The office overall just seems to be very unprofessional, disorganized and to some degree incompetent. Not the type of place you want your child to be seen at!!

I don't want to give one star because Dr Ryan is an amazing and so are his assistants, but that office staff... AWFUL maybe a total of 2 individuals who even know whats going on in that office. They will cancel appointments and then give you attitude when you are upset about waiting another four weeks for a dental procedure. Staff does not communicate and if you have any billing issues prepare to fight like hell to get anything resolved. My children will be going to a practice where they are a priority.

Very Professional and compassionate service. Front desk ladies are friendly, assistants are knowledgeable and helpful and Dr Cregger is the best pediatric dentist EVER!!!! There should be 10 stars for him and his team!

This is an unprofessional, disorganized, uninformed office. They overbook appointments in order to generate more revenue, without any consideration to how this negatively impacts their patients’ experience. There are plenty dentists in town that value their patients and employ staff who work to create a pleasant experience. My advice is to call one of those offices and stay clear of Brentwood Pediatric Dentisty.

Every staff member is so gentle and kind. All of the doctors are great and truly care about their patients. I highly recommend this office.

Man, I wish I could give negative stars! First off....this is a long review. Well, where to start....we have been going here for 8 years with all 3 boys, specifically seeing Dr. Ryan Cregger. During the 8 years we explained to him that we only want x-rays that are medically necessary, rather than just every year they are determined to have them. And, we have had x-rays for our sons. Dr. Cregger seemed okay with that for 8 years. Mind you our sons have never had a cavity (and they are 10, 13 and 15). We signed a document indicating no x-rays unless medically necessary and we were all happy (including Dr. Cregger). That changed this last visit (last week). Dr. Cregger was not working on the day I needed to reschedule our visit and so 2 of my 3 boys saw Dr. Robyn Hofelich. She asked the tech to see my 10 year old son's pan x-ray. Dr. Robyn was told he doesn't have one. She said he needs one and if we don't do it then perhaps we need to find another practice to take care of us from now on. This put me on the defensive....a bit of a bully move for a doctor. I told her I felt like she was bullying me into radiation for my son and I do not get bullied. It is my job to protect my son from unnecessary procedures. She apologized, but just said again...we might need to move on. I asked for the machine specs so I could research on my own and told her that perhaps we will do it next visit. I'll be honest...I wasn't very nice. You should never threaten any one to kick them out of your practice...in the middle of a room full of people...awful experience! Everyone was staring at us...terrible and embarrassing. I said I would research and call if I had questions. On my way out I asked if I could have Dr. Cregger call me so I could discuss how a person in his office could just jump to the threat of kicking us out without really discussing anything. He NEVER called. He only sent us a registered letter (not even addressed to our names, just parent or guardian) kicking us out of his practice. Yes, we were fired as customers. Specifically he sited "Failure to comply with recommended diagnostic procedures, and lack of doctor/patient trust." None of this is actually true. The doctor did not really give me any detailed indication why she needed the pan x-ray. She did say she expected more teeth to be in, but according to WebMD, my son seems to be on track. She mentioned something about the molars could be coming in sideways due to how my sons teeth were looking...however, they have looked the same since he got his permanent teeth. She also said to decide by next visit. As far as lack of doctor/patient trust...that happened for me when I received this letter rather than a phone call. I am so very disappointed in Dr. Cregger's actions. He doesn't even have the decency to talk to a customer of 8 years via phone...he can only send a letter. I even called today to see if I could talk to the office manager...no such luck. It was a mistake to see Dr. Robyn...she ruined our dentist relationship with Dr. Cregger...but then again, it showed Dr. Cregger's real side. Alright, thanks for reading!

Today was our first time at this dentist. Dr. Cregger was absolutely amazing! He is very patient and reassuring to the children, which is wonderful with children who have anxiety. Staff was great as well. I highly recommend Brentwood Pediatric Dentistry!

We had a dental emergency and Brentwood Pediatric Dentistry came to the rescue! Patient, gentle, and made my son feel comfortable. We are transitioning there for our full time care!

We love Brentwood Pediatric Dentistry! With 3 children all in school, BPD makes it easy to get them all in at the same time and we never have to wait a long time for their exams from Dr. Ryan. He’s very thorough and explains everything to my kids and myself. We love this place and most importantly my kids don’t mind going to the dentist at all!

Dr. Cregger has seen both of my girls since they were a year old (they are now 11 and 8) and has always been great with them! Fantastic care!

this office is horrible when it comes to billing patient's. I received a bill and made a payment, 13 days later I received a letter stating my account is 90 days past due and I need to make payment within 10 days. I had just made a payment. When I called the office and ask why I was put in collection. I was told even though I did make a payment I will still be in collection until my payment is made in full. which is ridiculous. I stated to the office I have always made payment and this had never happened. I always pay the bill on time as well. if this is a policy the office has to put patients in collection until the payment made in full, terrible policy, when I first called to make the payment the office should have made me aware, regardless its still terrible policy to put patients in collections even if they see in the system the patient is making payments constantly. When I first called I spoke to Tabitha and stated I had a question about my bill and also make a payment, but when she told me the policy and my status on my collection she knew I was not happy and asked to speak with Dr. Cregger she said "He is the doctor he does not do billing, but the office manager can talk to me." I informed her Dr. Cregger sees my kids and they are his patient's so he can talk to me about his/my kids patient's. her attitude got rude and she was ready to get off the phone. I stated to her, "I did call to also make a payment, which I stated to you when I first spoke with you, do you not want to take my payment?" she of course took my payment. I would most likely change my kids dentist for sure after this.

My 4 yr old went to two precious dentist offices but had never agreed to complete an exam. The staff at Brentwood Pediatric Dentisty were not only able to get her to agree to an exam but she left smiling. Great staff and dentist!

Their billing system is a mess. I keep getting new bill after each visit, even though I already paid copay and coinsurance upfront .

Today I had a concern with one of my children; they got her in the same day and quickly took care of her. Wonderful service!

I would highly recommend Brentwood Pediatric Dentistry! The dentist and the rest of the staff were very patient and kind with my children! They all really seem to care about my children’s dental health!!

Worst place to take your child for their 1st time dental experience!!! Unprofessional staff & uncomfortable environment. You definitely don’t have privacy for your family. The set up is horrible & you can wintness the scream, yells & kicks of other patients which is not fun for your toddler to see. I took my 3 year old & since it was his 1st visit I wanted to take a picture of him & a small clip while they perform their cleaning on him. I asked the dental hygienist if that was ok & she said as long as it’s only him on the photos & videos it’s fine due to HIPPA. Which is understandable & when I took picture & a clip , a staff member walks toward me & says ma’am you can’t take a videos or pictures!!! Well I already had permission SO WHO ARE YOU walking towards me & tell me this?!?! Rudely !!!!!! I thought I already had asked & for you to be this ignorant & tell me this again, the way you did was not necessary. Anyway, NOT GOING BACK AGAIN. HORRIBLE PLACE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE & STAFF.

They’re always very cordial, attentive and concerned with making the experience as painless and easy as possible........for both your child and you!

The dentist, staff and everyone here is great. I've always had a great experience when I bring my 12 year daughter so I decided to bring my 3 year old son. Well let's just say he isn't ready for the dental visits yet. God bless every staff member that assisted with him I really do appreciate it.
