This place was great. In and out within 2 hours including waiting time in the lobby, and recovery time post op. They left me with no questions and explained everything thoroughly. They extracted 5 wisdom teeth like it was nothing. What really impressed me was later that evening when the doctor himself called to check up on me. Overall 5 stars isn’t enough. They even gave me another script to help manage the pain. This whole team was amazing and I couldn’t be happier

I'm a shy person but I had the best experience possible with the process of my wisdom teeth extraction surgery. Dr. Bouneff and every staff member I encountered were great and I would definitely recommend this place!

Dr Boneff and Nurse Anthony where vary professional and they did a great job, highly recommended. The office ladies where vary nice as well. Everyone there where vary nice and helpful to me great place.

Dr Kooning and Staff were wonderful!!! I had my first ever dental surgery, 2 teeth removed and bone graft for later implant, and I was nervous! Jonathan up front is an absolute legend. He helped me through the scheduling (it was an emergency and tough to book but he made it happen!), and finances and was so kind and helpful all the way through. Anthony did an excellent job on my iv for sedation, and another team member I can't remember his name sorry, held my hand so kindly. That completely put me at ease and made all the difference. Then I just went to sleep and woke up all done! Dr Kooning and team really performed well and I was so nervous about the pain afterward but even though my jaw and the extraction site were pretty sore, they gave adequate pain relief. It was tough the first 48 hours and then started to improve and by day 4 advil was enough and I was up and about. I am looking forward to my follow up care and completing the rest of my dental plan with my general dentist now. Thank you so much Beaverton Oral Surgeons!!!

I have an appointment with them for 3 months and then the call and cancel 1 week before, and rescheduled it for Hillsboro which is super far from me.

Had a fractured tooth extraction and an implant installed. The nursing staff were affable and supportive. The doctor was focused and efficient and explained what he was doing. While I have no interest in a repeat of this procedure, if it was required I would return to BOS

A wonderful experience! The nurses, dentists and front desk staff were all so kind and amazing in making sure I was comfortable with my wisdom tooth removal. This was my first time “going under” for a surgery and my anxiety and nervousness that I was feeling before hand went away almost instantly as they started to get everything set up. Quick and easy and not as painful as I thought it would be at all! Thank you guys so much. I appreciate the work you do and am thankful you guys are still operating safely during the pandemic.

This was the worst experience in my life. My 13-year old son and I checked in at 3:45pm and we were still waiting at 5pm. It was very disrespectful for a teenager patient. Nobody notified us about the waiting until I checked with them after 75 minutes. The front desk asked us to wait for another 10 minutes otherwise we would have to come back until November. Never recommend this office because there are still a lot of good, respectful dentists in Beaverton.

Amanda and all the staff were super friendly, straight forward, and very helpful. Amanda did what she could to help me the best she can. I was very pleased with the whole process and she made it simple and non stressful for me. Would recommend this place again and again.

Their dental assistant Marissa is super friendly and super awesome! My husband has severe dental anxiety and she has been the only one who can keep him calm and make him feel comfortable. Highly recommend requesting Marissa for your procedure!

Incredibly unfeeling and rude. Mocked me for not being able to have $500 in my account on a whim. Didn't care about scheduling with me and made it clear I should work by THEIR schedule. Didn't care about my anxiety at the procedure, my needs to only take certain pain medications, or the fact that I had ALREADY HAD procedures they REQUIRED by done, and wanted to re-do them themselves for absolutely no reason (just so they could get more money out of me I'm assuming).

Dr.Bouneff and his staff are amazing professionals. I was in so much pain, his staff assisted to get me seen asap. After being seen and treated, my particular case turned out to need recurring surgeries and treatment. His staff was always very welcoming and cheerful. Dr. Bouneff made the whole experience as painless and stress-free as possible. He clearly set expectations and communicated next steps and reasons for them. He was not taking any short-cuts or easy way, he made sure it was a work well done. Thank you Dr.Bouneff & Team!

My tooth extraction & implant experience with Dr Bouneff was very professional & timely. I appreciate their diligence to a COVID safe environment, so I felt secure knowing the lobby, exam rooms & procedure rooms are as safe as possible. Today my teenage daughter had her wisdom teeth removed as well as one other tooth, so she could start her orthodontics. Dr. Bouneff and his staff were SO CARING. They went the extra mile to make sure my girl was comfortable, understood everything, and made the procedure as easy as pie. The surgery went smoothly, the nurses were wonderful, and every single person there was calm, confident and in tune. Dr. Bouneff is the BEST oral surgeon in the business. Take my word for it. If you need an oral surgeon that knows the ropes, and cares, this is the place to go. I’ve also heard great things about implants done there. Awesome work!!

I got referred here by my dentist and I'm sad to say that I didn't have such a positive experience here. It started off with sending my referral in and I had to call them quite a few times before having an appointment for them to even look at the tooth. It took a few months before I got scheduled in. The overall process took a little less than a year. I had my appointment to have my wisdom teeth removed and inquired whether my insurance would cover it. I could not afford any of it out of pocket. They let me know that I'm in good hands and I would not need to worry. A few months later, I received a bill that I had an X ray done there. Yesterday, I finally was about to get my wisdom teeth removed. As this is my first procedure with general anesthesia, I was definitely nervous. As far as I know, the surgery seemed to have went well. However, I made requests which they agreed to and forgotten about. Secondly, when I woke up, I realized my phone was recording audio. Surprised, I checked it to see if I said anything while under general anesthesia. As I played back a recording, a nurse ran over to me and YELLED at me, telling me to delete it at this was my final straw and added, "No more Ms. Nice Girl". Her name was Mimi I believe. If I did actions when under the actions of the IV and then was told I had to delete the audio, that's fine. But that is no way to communicate with a patient. When I got back home, my ride asked me how my experience was as she said her conversation with the nurses also seemed hostile that day. She mentioned that the front desk staff was rude and asked, "what are you doing here?" when she came to pick me up. Only two individuals were helpful afterwards and guided her to where she needed to go (Jonathan and AJ). Due to their timeliness, random bills, and rude post care, I would not recommend coming here. For the nurses that helped calm me before the surgery and my surgeon Dr. Kooning(who seemed to have done a fine job), I would avoid lowering the review to a 1 star.

This office does excellent work. The Dentist Dr Bouneoff is incredible he explained everything about the procedure. The staff at the office kept me informed of everything I needed to do. I would recommend this office to everyone. You can expect excellence and they deliver it.

Dr Kooning is technically talented with a great patient communication style. Understand that your body is an important part of the equation for success in implants and Dr Kooning clearly explains the need for solid bone structure. Excellent work and overall healthcare experience!

Staff (front and back rooms) and Dr. Kooning (my doctor): Polite, efficient, kind, patient, basically painless, quick, reliable, knowledgable, very helpful in looking for answers to any questions you may have. Building, parking, accessibility: Easy-to-locate facility, pleasant atmosphere, handicapped parking, elevator from lot to office, good-sized waiting room with lav, (Quite important when you drive 2 hours to get there) Appointments are easy to make, can be scheduled pretty much to meet your needs, there is an office also in Hillsboro, they made time for me in an emergency. If you are a person with anxieties about visiting an oral surgeon, this is the place to go because they understand that, and are happy to help alleviate your stress. I have chosen to go only to them several times and will continue to do so as needed.

I was extremely nervous to get my wisdom teeth out, I’ve put it off for over a decade and they were so kind and everything went great. They helped tremendously very kind and friendly the staff treat you like a person-family not a client. From the doctors down to billing everyone was a pleasant to talk to and deal with. If you don't get your ORAL needs done here you're going to regret it this is the best place in Oregon.

My case was extreme, I had a lot of bone loss and was told by another dentist it would be impossible to get implants. Then someone recommended i go to Beaverton Oral Surgeons. Dr. Bouneff and his assistant Cassie were AMAZING! They performed an all on 4 procedure beautifully. Through the whole process they've been kind and informative. I highly recommend to everybody Beaverton Oral Surgeons!!!!!

10 stars!!! Had a tooth extraction at the Hillsboro location yesterday, 4/27/2021. It was my first meeting with Dr Bouneff. I cannot find words to describe my impression of this highly skilled surgeon. I was immediately at peace in his presence and that of the back office staff. Amazing does not begin to describe my experience. To top it off, I HAVE HAD NO, NONE, ZERO POST OP PAIN, SWELLING OR DISCOMFORT! I realize that will not be the case for everyone but I am confident that Dr Bouneff offer care beyond your expectations.

Dr Bouneff has been my oral surgeons for almost 20 years. He is an excellent oral surgeons who truly cares for his patient . He did a total of 17 implants for my teeth over the last 18 years. I never had any problems with any of the implants. He has an excellent staffs who are also extremely nice to me and very professional . Dr Bouneff is a great doctor and always goes out of his way to make sure that my implants are good and that I was doing fine after the surgery . I never had any bruised , pain after the surgeries. I truly appreciated his kindness and his staffs for helping me with my teeth all these years. He is the best oral surgeon there is and I am 100% recommend him to any of my friends and family member. My surgery went well. It did take two sticks to get my IV in, but everything else went great.

Molar extraction for a implant went smoothly and the nursing staff and Dr. Bouneff were professional and attentive during the procedure and after with follow up calls.

My wife went here recently to use equipment that they had that our main dentist did not have. The dental staff including dentist were kind and patient. The issue with this experience is the requirement to pay upfront for things that our insurance covered. As the dental issue was urgent, we paid and were told a refund would be issued when our insurance remitted payment. Two weeks later, after they had already received payment from our insurance, we called and were told it would take four weeks minimum to receive our check refund. After that four week period, we recently called back and the refund was still not even in the process of being started. And this time, they were unable to give a time frame. It's just poor service overall. Charging for services covered and easily verified through an insurance verification and then holding onto a customer's funds when you as a company have already been paid by insurance. This is poor practice. The three star rating is because the actual service you go for is done very well, but as in any business, that is only a portion of the overall experience.

A few months back I got all 4 wisdom teeth removed. I was extremely nervous due to the fact that I had never been put under before. When I got in, I was seated comfortably and greeted by shelby who was so sweet and made me laugh until next thing I know I'm waking up! They made sure I felt relaxed and knew what was going on and even gave me flowers as I was walking out. Loved every bit of it and would do it all over again with no nerves if I knew how awesome my experience would have been. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!

Dr. Bouneff and staff, This was the best dental experience I have ever had. Everyone who helped me from the beginning of the experience from scheduling to checking me in we’re wonderful. The medical staff we’re the upmost professional team and helped me feel extremely comfortable and safe through my surgery. Dr. Bouneff was super nice and helped bring my nerves to ease before the procedure began. In recovery nurse Kaylee was super sweet and comforting as I was resting. She gave me some pain medicine when I woke up to make sure I stayed comfortable and throughly went over post op care instructions. She helped me change my gauze and told me to take it easy for the rest of the weekend. I really appreciated everyone at the office and would definitely recommend my family and friends!

I had three wisdom teeth removed by dr. Bouneff 5 days ago. The whole process was super easy. His staff was friendly from start to finish and he has a kind and professional bedside manner. I am giving four stars instead of five because they’re not up to date on lactation and medical procedures. This was an issue for me as a breastfeed mother, but obviously if someone isn’t lactating it won’t be an issue. I was told I would need to pump and dump for 24 hours after the procedure, which I didn’t think was true so I called a lactation clinic to verify. When I mentioned that pumping and dumping wasn’t consistent with my research they kind of brushed me off so I didn’t push it. This kind of thing can be a big deal for a breastfeeding mom so it would be nice for them to be better informed and not giving false information. Other than that, it was a great experience. I definitely recommend.

First off, get your wisdom teeth taken care of before they actually cause you problems. Second off, go here for it. I waited to get my lower left wisdom tooth taken out until I literally couldn't wait anymore because I was in 8/10 pain for nearly a week. I was super nervous because I'd never had a surgery before but every person I interacted with was so nice to me and made me feel very comfortable. They really went above and beyond for me, even re-numbing my surgery site when I said it was painful during recovery. They even let me keep my tooth when I asked for it. I'll definitely be going back for any other dental surgery needs.

Everyone at the office was so helpful from the very beginning. The appointment was for my daughter that lives in Oregon but I live in another state. I was so worried but they kept me as informed as they could prior to and after the appointment. Everything ran so smoothly I was very impressed. As a dental professional myself, I’d highly recommend this office.

This is a follow up to the review (below) that I posted on September 11, 2020. The office manager at Beaverton Oral Surgeons (BOS) has reached out to me and resolved my issues with the company. She explained to me that the person (who is no longer with the company) whose job it was to oversee the coordination of care for patients had made the mistake of not getting the proper predetermination for the work from my insurance company. The problem was further compounded by a lack of communication between the different departments within BOS, so that the office manager was never notified of my ongoing problems. She assured me that steps were being taken to correct these issues. She further apologized to me for my inconvenience and removed the $1673 from my account. I appreciate Beaverton Oral Surgeons taking the time to correct this problem and I feel they will take the steps necessary to minimize the chance of this happening to anyone else in the future. Original Review from September 11, 2020 - (The dental work at Beaverton Oral Surgeons was fine, but my experience with their front office and billing departments has been a nightmare. My wife had implant surgery involving 2 teeth in December of 2019 with a total charge of $7008. I was told we were responsible for $4339 of this and that my insurance would cover the remaining $2669. Before the surgery I paid the $4339 and asked the front office personnel if a predetermination had been received from my insurance company. They told me yes and that I would only have to pay the $4339. It turns out they never did get a predetermination or anything in writing from the insurance company. Once the insurance company reviewed what was actually done and paid their share, I had to pay an extra $1673.22. I asked the accounting office why they told me they had a predetermination, when they actually didn't. I never received an adequate answer or any type of apology. I got the impression that this was standard operating procedure by Beaverton Oral Surgeons I explained to them I would never have a $7008 surgery done without a predetermination by the insurance company - that would be stupid. Because of their laziness, I was stuck having to pay an extra $1673. I would highly recommend avoiding this company. I don't expect them to try to rectify what they've done to me, but hopefully this review will prevent someone else from making the same mistake I did in trusting them.)

My boyfriend needed to have his wisdom teeth pulled and I myself had previously been to Beaverton Oral Surgeons so they were our first pick. We had the pleasure of working with Kelsea who answered any questions we had regarding scheduling or the procedure itself. She made the entire process very seamless and comfortable for someone who was nervous about the procedure. The surgery itself was also a great experience and the recovery was a lot easier than expected. We definitely recommend Beaverton Oral Surgeons.

I went to Beaverton Oral Surgery, by the recommendation of my family dentist, to be seen for acute swelling in my face and jaw, that is very painful and concerning, as I could barely open my mouth. When I called to obtain an appointment, I spoke to Hailey. She was very professional and understanding. I received a call back to come in the same day I called, to come in the late afternoon. Upon arriving, the front desk team was also very professional and kind. The provider and his assistant were caring, and made me comfortable. The advice given was spot on, and I already feel way better today. This office knows what they are doing. A great staff makes the office run smoothly, and this office has a top notch staff. So everyone at Beaverton Oral Surgeons gets a high-five, for doing a fantastic job. If you need oral surgery of have a severe dental issue, I highly recommend this office to take care of your dental concern.

Bouneff is the best Oral Surgeon on the West Coast. His staff is top flight professional, and they work hard for you regarding your insurance and payments. There is no place in Oregon or on the West Coast that is better so stop looking!

This place should teach other medical offices how to run a medical practice. Nobody beats them in terms of care and follow up. My doctor called me after surgery to give me his personal cell phone if I had problems. Who does that anymore? These people are the best.

I was VERY nervous about having to have a cracked rear bottom molar pulled. Beaverton Oral Surgeons staff made my horrific fears an unreality. They were MARVELOUS! They were kind, patient, attentive. I came out of the experience with only minor discomfort controlled with Tylenol. The only thing I didn't like - having to wake up from my lovely drug induced sleep. Although, I hope to never have to see them again, I highly recommend Beaverton Oral Surgeons.

They are on top of everything, super friendly and ready to listen to you and accommodate your needs as much as possible. I highly recommend this place.

Great experience with Beaverton Oral Surgeons! I had cracked a molar, and contacted BOS for an emergency visit. They handled me promptly and professionally. Ultimately, the tooth was extracted and an implant base installed, and my surgical experience, before, during, and after, was excellent; not a single adverse medical issue as a result of the surgery. They know what they are doing, they do it well, and I always felt like I was in capable and confident hands. Thanks, BOS team, for the great work and care!

Terrible. My wife went in for a standard extraction and asked the nurse and dentist about the medications they had prescribed her, wanting to make sure that they were aware of the medications she was currently on and that they knew of the (potentially dangerous) interactions. Our primary care doctor had mentioned before why you should avoid one of the mentioned medications, and we googled it after that to make sure. When my wife brought this up, and explained that I also was concerned the nurse laughed and said “Oh he a doctor?” sarcastically. Both she and the dentist scoffed and didn’t explain the medications or interactions. My wife was severely uncomfortable by this (my grandmother passed away due to the negligence of her doctor, we have good reason to want to make sure). She was uncomfortable enough that she considered canceling her appointment then and having her teeth extracted somewhere else. However, because she was upset she instead asked if they would please talk to me (her husband) about it before they began the procedure, because it would make her feel better and she wanted an explanation and to be taken seriously. They agreed, disappeared for a little while then came back and quickly put the mask over her face making her fall asleep. No one talked to me or mentioned any of this to me. She was scared and thought that I must have spoken to them already. They lied, didn’t take us seriously, and were incredibly condescending. While my wife was in the recovery room I was finally taken back and I confronted the nurse, wanting an explanation about the medications. I explained the interactions and she just looked at me with a dumb expression acting like she didn’t even know what the medications were. All she had to say was “It’s fine. We give these medications to every single patient with no exceptions, the interactions don’t matter.” She then quickly disappeared. Because of their insistence, and because we had no other option, my wife took the pills they prescribed. As it turns out after a couple of days taking it the interactions between two of the medications we had asked about were severe enough that my wife had to stop taking them. We’ll never go back here, to be treated like less than dirt. People die everyday due to the ignorance and negligence of people like this, and asking a simple question about the safety of a medication should never be something you should be made to feel bad about.

Fantastic!! Kelsey helped me all the way from scheduling and getting paperwork in order to checking up on me just to make sure I had everything I needed going! When it came to the actual procedure I was in and out in no time and I feel great for having two wisdom teeth removed. Will 100% recommend this to anyone needing wisdom teeth out! I have been going through the process of having dental implants due to medical reasons and yes, it scared me. I WAS WRONG. When you go into Dr. Bouneff’s office you are immediately family. Amanda has been outstanding as well as the caregivers. They have stayed with me throughout each step. Amanda is there to welcome me every visit and make sure all my needs are taken care of. My nurse has remembered details of things that happen and we laugh. The entire staff is there for YOU and trust me if I could go there for any reason other than my teeth, I would in a heartbeat. Please take your surgical needs to Amanda and the entire tea and rest assured you will be so relieved and relaxed. I have never endorsed someone but this team is completely there at any time. Overall I had a great experience at BOS. Friendly, caring staff made my visit comfortable. I was nervous going in, but they really took the time to make sure I felt relaxed. My procedure was easier than I expected and post procedure they were available the answer any of my questions. I really felt cared for throughout the entire process. Thank you BOS!

Very friendly staff. Easy and pleasant experience. The oral extraction gave me a lot of anxiety however the oral surgeon (Cooning) was awesome and very relatable. He is such a funny and nice guy. He really made the experience a fun one, and I had to get a really awful molar removed! I wasn’t expecting to laugh or have a good time, but the staff made it worth it. I’m hoping I don’t need to return, but if I do, it’ll be here no doubt.

I was treated very well by every member of the staff, from the time I walked in the door, until I walked out. I had a broken tooth removed and an implant put in. It was done quickly and painlessly - much less traumatic than I had expected. Dr. Bouneff, Erin, and Ross all did a great job. Thank you so much for making it a good experience.

As a patient with severe anxiety, the thought of facing a series of oral surgeries was terrifying. After putting it off as long as humanly possible the day had come for my consultation appointment. From the moment I walked through the door I felt my anxiety slowly subside. The staff are extremely welcoming and address you by name, which seems silly but really makes a difference. The office was spotless and every exam room I could see was held to the highest standard of sanitization. I was given all the information I would need and would be the most beneficial to me...not what would be the most expensive. I felt like everyone genuinely cared about me...and not because it was their job, but they all actually cared about me, my family, my work, everything. Even during COVID19 I ended up having my second surgery and I felt like my safety and health was never at risk. I actually look forward to my office visits because its like visiting family. I cannot say enough about how amazing everyone is. I would recommend Beaverton Oral Surgeons to absolutely EVERYONE!!

My experience was amazing ! First of all Cinthia was able to get me in the very next morning after calling about how I needed to be seen due to a severe tooth ache the day before ! I went in and was given a friendly welcome. Got seen really fast, got 2 teeth extracted and went home an hour later with no more pain ! I would completely recommend them to anybody who needs emergency tooth help ! Great clean office ! Amazing doctor ! And great friendly staff ! For sure would come again for any teeth problems !
