I just wanted to say that Abigail is such a nice and helpful associate and that she made my experience very enjoyable, she’s doing a fantastic job.

Made an appointment SEVERAL MONTHS AGO bc I can't just take off when ever I want to go to the doctor/dentist, everything seemed fine, they called me today a few days before my appointment to tell me they dont take my insurance.....the insurance is gave them months ago, now I dont have time to find another place with an opening in that day. Very unprofessional.

Dr Pournik’s office makes coming to the dentist enjoyable. The staff is friendly, quick, and makes sure you are comfortable!

I've been a patient here since 2017. I'm now in the process of getting adult braces. I love this place. So warm and welcoming. The staff is awesome and my Orthodontist, Hedieh Pournik, is better than yours....LOL

I really looked and looked for a place that really treated me with professionalism and respect and I found it Thank God. Dr Hedieh Pournik is incredible attention and really his hand always makes me feel good. The super professional place its friendly employees make appointments in good time. I heartily recommend it ? My dentist, Hedieh Pournik, cares genuinely about me as her patient. She takes the time to explain all the things that I need to keep my teeth healthy and clean. Her assistant, Lidia, is also wonderful. If you are looking for a great doctor with reasonable prices and quality, you should come here as well. I have been coming to this particular office for about three years now. The front desk and checkout clerk do a great job scheduling and following up with you.

My husband and I are patients of Dr. Pournik (me since 2015 and my husband since before 2015). I have had braces, retainers and routine examinations done by her. My husband has had a root canal, implant, and porcelain veneers, as well as preventative care. The service we receive from the front desk to the dental assistants to Dr. Pournik herself are exemplary. We are very happy with her and will continue to get our dental care there.

I was literally in tears with this Doctor and her staff. They are amazing people. They make you feel welcome and very concerned for your situation, your not just a dollar sign like most dental practice I have visited. Recently moved to Houston and was in need of a dentist within my insurance provider. I discovered Apple White after a horrible experience at a dentist in south Texas. The staff, assistants and Dr. Pournik surly impressed me during my two recent visits. Clean offices and a professional environment will keep me returning. Highly recommended!!

Family and myself have been coming to Dr. Pournik for many years. We have never had a complaint about any of her work. The whole staff is perfect. I have recently moved and drive to her office from Katy because why would i even try someone else.

Seriously one of the best experiences I have ever had at a densit. The billing and account specialist at the front was so welcoming and answered all of my questions and made me feel right at home. The dental assistant was fantastic. He took his time, made sure I was comfortable, and gave the best chair side assistance I have ever had. I am so excited to start my smile makeover with Dr. She is phenomenal and after one visit, I trust her completely. I am so glad I have found this dental office!

This place is great! Everyone is nice and comforting. They don’t jump to doing unnecessary fillings or procedures- really try to help you prevent problems. And I love the cleaner they used at the end of my checkup. My teeth were so white when I left!

I had an absolute amazing experience at Applewhite Dental Arts. I called needing an appointment ASAP! I was in pain! Luckily, they had an opening within the hour and were able to accommodate me. From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was professional, thorough, and friendly. Everyone greeted me with a smile. I have not had the best experiences with dentists in the past, so I had my radar up. Applewhite Dental Arts shined a new light on dental care for me! I cannot stress to you how amazing the staff was. Dr. Pournik came in to the exam room and I was instantly even more at ease. She is so down to earth! She talked to me and not at me. She made me feel like she’d known me for years. She even cracked a joke or two! I was blown away! I was the last patient to leave and never once did I feel rushed. The care she and her staff took of me was top notch! Great dentist and staff!! Everyone in the office from the young ladies at the front to the staff in the back is very professional and is a joy to deal with. Dr. Pournik is very honest and awesome at what she does which isn't common with some dentists. She goes over every treatment with you which allows you to know what is being done and ask any questions or concerns which she answers thoroughly. Hands down the best dentist I've been to.

After moving from the south side, I thought I would struggle to find a dentist and I was nervous especially since my last dentist wasn’t the best and then I stumbled upon this place. This is probably the best dentist I’ve ever been to, everyone is super nice always, they are very knowledgeable and patient with you, and they generally care about their patients. My dentist has asked about my family and how I’m doing and we can chat over the fact that I’m a teacher in the way the world is today, they are just really nice people not to forget to mention that they are so close to my house. I love this place and I would highly recommend it, You will not be disappointed! They are the only ones touching my teeth from here on out! I love them!

Applewhite dental is my dental office of choice. The entire staff is really friendly and the office is extremely warm, inviting and and the environment is 'homely'. I found the prices to be very reasonable and before anything extra outside what was initially discussed is talked about and confirmed before the work is done. Another nice feature is they are open on Saturdays so I don't have to take time off work to get a cleaning. In my experience some offices do not give me weeks reminders and Dental Arts gives you 2 reminders and texts. One like a week in advanced and a text and phone call again 1-2 days before appointment. The office is very clean, smells nice with the aromatherapy.

I had work done there today and I am very pleased. I will highly recommend Applewhite.

This is by far the greatest dental experience I’ve ever had, the care I received here is beyond my expectations. From the very start Emily ensures your appointment best suits your schedule and she also helps you understand all of your costs. Then Dr.Pournik is the sweetest person, she completely understands patient care and comfort. Everyone makes sure they go above and beyond to meet your needs. There aren’t enough good things I can say about my experience here besides amazing, just amazing.

OMGEE first off I just have to say this is by far the best Dental experience I could ever ask for. Emily was the sweetest she explained all of my insurance coverages and out of pocket cost I would pay...she help me make appointments that best suited my schedule and also called and reminded me whenever I had an upcoming appointment. Now Dr. Pournick have one word “Amazing” she is so kind and so gentle with my mouth. She makes sure I know exactly what she is doing and makes sure she and her assistants give me the best care possible. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else for dental care I’m in love!

I used to hate going to the dentist. I’ve had the worst experiences at other dental offices-not clean, not professional, etc. Then I started going to Applewhite dental. Their office is very calming and clean; it looks like a spa. The staff is so friendly and nice. Dr pournik is awesome and she makes you feel really comfortable. They always explain everything they are doing before they do it. I’ve been going here for over two years and I’m not leaving!

Dr. Pournik and the staff are all extremely friendly and efficient. I have been through several dentists and my general check-ups definitely go by much more quickly. There is almost no wait time, which is quite a change from pretty much any other provider. Also, the atmosphere is very tranquil and lacks any of the loud machinery you would expect to hear at most dental offices, which definitely makes the experience better.

The atmosphere is super relaxing and everyone is so friendly and hospitable.

I haven't even left the office and I am beyond impressed . Customer service, location, cleanliness, and bed side manner are 10/10 . It is very easy to tell that these health professionals put patient care above anything else. I will be coming back and using their services again.

I thought my previous dentist was great but this place is even better! They have all the latest equipment to treat all your dental needs and they also are good at telling you what is about to happen before it happens. I was very relaxed and comfortable the entire time. When you’re dealing with your health, you want only the best care but unfortunately sometimes finding it is easier said than done. Dr. Pournik and her staff are so wonderful, I know there is no where I else I would ever consider going for my dental care. (I learned the hard way many years ago, that not all dental care is created equal and work done by those that do not strive to be the best, will result in greater, costly problems years later.) Every aspect of each visit has been flawless from start to finish. You can expect excellent customer service, scheduling, follow-up calls/reminders and treatment by dental assistants as well as the gentle, knowledgeable care given by Dr. Pournik. Your over-all dental health for many years to come as well as visually beautiful teeth are equally important to her. After one visit, you’ll understand why I took the time to write this review!

Hi there, this is the 3rd time I'm calling at 4pm and the answering machine tells me it's closed, yet the hours show 5pm closing Thursday and last Friday the same happened. Either u have to change ur answering machine or the hours. I wanted to make an appointment for me and my husband, we both are excisting customers. They said they need to chk our insurance. I was told I get a call back, never happened. I called myself 2wice after that only to be receiving the answering machine which gives me false information. I gave u guys a good review while back but I know have to say it's nothing like I remembered. I know Dr. Pournik wouldn't be happy about this kinda customer service. Very disappointed.

After reading reviews I selected AppleWhite Dental Arts as my dental provider. Let me say I hate going to the dentist. I have had some bad experiences, so much so that the sound of the drill makes me want to jump out my skin BUT after finding Dr. Pournik my fears have started to dissolve!! Dr. Pournik AND her staff are amazing. They are genuine nice and very caring. Highly recommended!!

Dr. Pournik and her staff have created the most pleasant experience possible. Katie and Miriam make you feel like a long lost friend when you walk in the door, and technicians like Claudia and t make you feel like a person instead of patient #356. Dr. Pournik patiently takes the time to answer my questions completely on every visit. I appreciate that she speaks to me on an adult level instead of "talking down" to me. I have referred family members and coworkers to her practice, and all now call her their dentist. So if top level skills, a truly friendly atmosphere, and just a plain ol' comfortable experience are in your wishlist, you owe it to yourself to visit Dr Pournik.

I was referred to Dr. Pournik by a friend and I couldn't be more happy with that friend and even more happy with Dr. Pournik! When you have a pleasant experience at the dentist I think that is definitely something you have to share! The staff at Applewhite Dental Arts is super friendly and attentive. They explained everything they were doing before they did it, which I liked and it made me feel a lot more comfortable while in the dentist chair. Dr. Pournik listened to me and my concerns about my teeth and gave me options based on cost of what direction to go. What dentist do you know that does that? Awesome. To top top off my experience, they rock the 80's, none of that elevator music stuff! :) I have already had my husband switch over to them and have told several friends who are just as happy with their experiences. I have the worst dental anxiety and everyone at Applewhite Dental Arts went out of their way to make me feel at ease and comfortable. From reception to walking out the door. Dr. Pournik was knowledgable and precise with her treatment plan for me and uses the best products available. The cost of my treatment plan was reviewed in detail and I'm so at ease knowing that I will be in great hands while I finally get my smile and mouth back to the healthiest and best it can be. I couldn't be happier and finally feel hopeful!!

I can honestly say that my experience at was the best dental visit I have ever had. It was a little bumpy at first trying to schedule appointments, but only due to a temporary shorthanded staff. However, it was well worth the wait. The staff has been friendly and informative and the procedures were quick and relatively pain-free. I would highly recommend this office.

i was always a bit scared of going to the dentist, and never liked to admit that i was one of those people who did not pay attention to their oral health. But my teeth are very important to me as I think they should be to everyone. I finally got the courage to call because i saw a friend of mine lose a tooth due to large cavity. Applewhite dental arts staff made it so simple for me to begin my treatment. You can make appts online, and fill out all the papers online without having to print. it is all electronic signing which for a busy person is very convenient. So when you get to the office, it is easy breezy and no wait. Their hours are extended so it works with my work schedule. The place smells great and feels like your own living room. The ladies are warm and very unassuming. It just felt good to go to see them. I love the dr. she is gentle and very patient with me and my fears. She gave me nitrous and i never felt the needle. I am very happy and would like to share my experience with others. Don't wait til something breaks, call and you will be happy that you did.
