Dr.Bye was amazing. He was very patient and kind when taking care of me. I ended up having to have a tooth removed and he made sure I was taken care of and has checked up on me after as well. And the practice manager was very kind and holding my hand while I was getting it removed. Thank you Dr.Byrd!

Quality care at a reasonable price.

Amazing Dentist and Team, Dr. Byrd is very knowledgeable and informing about the different treatments needed. The Hygienists are super nice, and gentle. and the front desk ladies are really comforting and informative. I will be coming back here for sure! 10/10 For a small office they sure have a good team put together. The scanner they used was really cool too showed me 3D models of my mouth and it was nice to get to see what the dentist was seeing.

Will not be going back. Always felt talked down to like I’m being reprimanded. When I got a second opinion turns out they were telling me I had a disease that I actually do not have. Dentists (yes, plural.. never got to know them) were cold and unfriendly. Did not care about getting to know me. Will not go back here again.

2/2018 had a front bridge procedure. Unfortunately, it failed 11/2021! However, AMFD supposably has a 5-year warranty on their workmenship! Lucky me! Turns out their warranty is worthless! They give you credit for their bad work but jack up the price on a new procedure. I saved over $4,000 elsewhere! And that wasn't hard to do! Place is a revolving door!

I was a patient for more then 20 years at this office. This office has gone way down hill, all of the staff, but one, have left this practice. I now have an infection because of their negligence. Was lied too over and over again. Actually caught them in their lies. I really should of listened to the reviews of this Dentist from other offices he worked at. What has happened to me, happened to other people. Please be warned!! I strongly recommend finding another dentist office. I’m done for good Really should be no stars!

Never given negative review ever, but this has been my most unpleasant dental experience. Treats mouth like pit hole, absolutely rough. I never want to walk that door again.

I needed a new dentist after moving to Franklin from Nashville and hadn't been to one since the pandemic started. I got AFD's postcard mailer and, as dumb as it sounds, my choice was based on how everyone looked genuinely happy in the photo. Like they liked what they did and who they worked with. Easy scheduling, easy communication. Kassie is so kind and diligent. Dr. Byrd is personable and efficient. Thank you for a great experience!

Torrie, Kassandra and Dr. Byrd are all kind courteous & most importantly professional. I can't leave out Miss Brenda either. Granted this outfit has had issues in the past, My last two visits have been most rewarding, unlike some I'm the past. Miss Brenda is the main reason I have returned here to receive oral care. She has been there as long if not longer than anyone else. Dr. Byrd is honest, sensible and no Bovine Scatology, if u get my drift. They need to have a staff that remains continuously in place. I trust them and will now schedule my wife to visit this group in the future. I have been the recipient of there services for some years

Terrible experience. My 15 year old daughter was referred by pediatric dentist to AFD for cavity treatment. They forwarded the x rays.During our visit on Oct 26 we came to know from Dentist that he was not aware of any x rays . We followed up with front desk 3 times about that prior to the appointment. He ordered another set of x rays and asked us to set up another appointment for Nov 15 to treat cavities. So we lost valuable time . This was their first mistake On nov 15 we went for the appointment. Waited for 35 min in the lobby . Same Dentist who was supposed to review patient chart prior to the appointment didn’t appear to do that. As soon as he looked at the tooth he said it was a root canal. I reminded him that he was the one who ordered for treatment on oct 26. He said “he would try his best”, numbed her teeth and again said he tried but it’s not possible to treat and referred for root canal . My daughter is complaining headache since the time she was numbed . I don’t recommend AFD to any one

Christi the hygienist is my favorite ever. I get nervous at the dentist and have had issues with my gums. Christi was kind and compassionate and also very informative, giving me the information I needed to turn my gums around. I haven't had someone take as much time and care as she did with me. With her help I've really been able to get my gums a lot healthier. I definitely recommend her!

I was scheduled for a surgery Friday and the staff called me today, Wednesday, to tell me the Dentist quit and took his laser with him.

Kristy did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth. She also recommended products that would improve my dental health. I highly recommend her!

5 Stars hands down!!! Dr Denemark & his team are absolutely wonderful. Very compassionate, super kind, positive & welcoming. They walked me through my entire treatment plan, and with each visit is great. I know I'm in the best care possible and in great hands. Highly recommend!

Deceptive and poorly managed. We have dental insurance had been going to AFD for a few years without significant problems but then received a bill for a visit because our insurance denied the coverage. Turns out they changed the Dr they submitted under for ONE of our four kids. The Dr they billed under for Daniel was not even the Dr that worked on our kids and not on our insurance plan. We called and complained and they said they would correct it. Nope, received the same bill another month later, no correction. Called again, again assured it will be corrected. Nope, same bill again. Called again.... Then a letter from collections, called again... you get the idea. Thought it was done until we find our credit score substantially dinged for lack of payment! Stay away!

Loved Dr. Bozman and sorry he left. The office has needed regular help for a long time. My teeth cleaning left something to be desired by the sub.

Do NOT choose this place unless you want to be extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. They sent me a bill for a balance, called and asked them several different times to explain the balance and never received a return phone call on the balance. Later down the road after them continuing to send the same statement with the same balance I kept inquiring about, they sent me to collections. Called they didn't call back for a while then they tell me that there is nothing they can do...I will never chose this place again for the last of customer service.

I’ve always had great experiences at American Family Dentistry! The staff are all very nice and they take care of us....Dr. Bozeman even put a diamond in my daughter’s tooth and it looks so good!!

I made an appointment because I broke a tooth and was in severe pain. My tooth needed to be pulled The dentist could care less about me as a patient. My top tooth was cracked also and he didn't want to fix that one either. He smelled like smoke really bad so I guess his cigarette was more important than me I will not go back.

I went to this dentist because they accept my insurance. I will be looking for a new dentist for the future. I had my appointment today at noon. When I scheduled the appointment this time was offered to me so I accepted. The hygienist, Katie, did fine cleaning my teeth but afterwards informed me that since everyone was at lunch including the dentist that that was the end of my appointment. She said that the dentist would look at my x-rays and they would call me if they needed to see me but otherwise no news was good news. I’m sorry, what?! No offense to the hygienist but I go to the dentist to see the dentist. That was unacceptable to me. Furthermore, when I made the appointment I should have been asked if I was ok to not see the dentist since apparently that is during their lunch hour. On top of this negative experience, the office and exam room is dirty and outdated. The chairs have tears in the upholstery, the lighting and dental equipment look visibly dirty and the room itself is unkempt. I saw two beetles crawling along the floor during my 20 minutes there. The hygienist had polish splatter from a previous patient on her jacket when she cleaned my teeth. Not okay.

I now have a dental office to go to! I just moved to Franklin, TN in April 2019. It's always a challenge to find a new dental office because there's so many out there. After researching, I decided on AFD Cool Springs and I'm glad I did! The front desk staff are very friendly and approachable. My new hygienist, La Toya, is also very friendly and went over everything with me. She was thorough. She even went over costs and I was very appreciative of this! She was gentle with the cleaning and this is a plus for me since I have anxiety. Dr. Bozeman was great. He didn't judge and was encouraging. Thank you everyone!

Very unresponsive and unethical.

It took them 10 months and 20+ phone calls to send pre-operative x-rays to my insurance company. On top of it, they are saying that they will take some more of my money because their write-off policy states that if the insurance company overpaid they will write off a lower amount. This dentistry sucks! I have never been to a worse, unorganized, unresponsive dentistry. Only when it comes to taking my money they are quick to react.

I have been at this practice for years but am trying to be better at leaving reviews since I personally read them all the time. The main reason I have been here so long quite honestly is that there is no wait time. They are very efficient with their scheduling. If my appointment is for a cleaning at 1pm, it starts at 1 and I'm back in my car by 1:30. I love that I have the same hygienist each time (Katie). She is very sweet and does a great job. I have never ever felt like they are pushing a procedure on me to make money (had that happen at a different practice in the past). I have only had 1 or 2 cavities filled/replaced in my years here but they have always done a great job.

Unprofessional, unorganized, rude and just lost my business. My family of 7 will find a dentistry that values their patients and treats them with respect.

Dr Bozeman and his entire staff are excellent. I've been a client for over 15 years.

They are always courteous and run on time for appointments. I would recommend to anyone who values that as well as professional staff that take their time and explain all they are doing and why.

We had an issue with our insurance when we got to the office. The ladies at the front desk went above and beyond to help us get it settled. I greatly appreciated it!!

Great experience: convenient hours, professional staff, proficient (no waiting) operation, fair pricing. My wife ended up moving to them and has had the same experience.

Fine Dentists, terrible front office. Would not recommend anyone going here due to the incompetence working in the front. Unorganized, unprofessional and unable to do their job.

Katie does a great job cleaning my kids teeth! They always get a good report and we are in and out in 25 minutes or less. We live in Smyrna, but travel to Brentwood because they provide such good care. I would recommend them to anyone!

We've been happy with American Family Dentistry for more than two years. The team is thorough, yet very efficient. Their office is convenient from anywhere within Franklin or Brentwood and I love that they open early for before school or work appointments. Five stars.

I won't be returning. To say Dr. Jeffery Moore could use better customer service would be an understatement.

My experience with American Family Dentistry to date has been a very positive one. The office staff is courteous, efficient, and most helpful. The dental assistant knows what she's doing and does it well, and Dr. Jeffrey Moore is beyond compare. I'm grateful he's still in the area. The office and the restroom are comfortable and clean.
