Professional & kind staff

Had an appointment 11/6 at 8:30am. Left at 9:00am after no communication as to when I would be seen. So rude to do to a patient.

Dr. McCall and the staff are wonderful! Friendly and accommodating and made me feel at ease even after not having been to the dentist in quite some time. My fillings were quick and painless and able to be completed on my lunch hour. Overall, amazing! I would highly recommend Dr. McCall!

First thing I noticed was the way the entire staff makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. They inform you on everything that they will be doing the day of, they talk to you during the process of your dental procedure as well! I was looking for a new dental office, some place where you can tell that the staff enjoys what they are doing as well as making you feel like you’re more than just another mouth lol. I’m really glad that I made this my dental office of choice.

No complaints. Got cleaning/exam and a couple fillings (two trips). First trip had no delay from the appointment time, and second had a 15 minute delay due to a prior patient, which is pretty reasonable. The fillings went quite smoothly and quickly, and other than having to keep my jaw open (which is pretty unavoidable, but they provided plenty of breaks) no discomfort at all.

Really bad experience. I would recommend avoiding this office and choosing one of the many other options in Chicago. Attempted to get a simple procedure done on a Friday afternoon. Scheduled it a week in advance after talking to the dentist about it. A day or two before Friday, i get a text from the office that says I’ll have to reschedule because the dentist needs to be out of the office early. I guess she made other plans. I rescheduled to a more inconvenient time earlier in the day, but didn’t realize rescheduling meant I needed to go to a different office. So i went to the wrong one first, the original office. The one i originally went to because it was close to me and convenient. Was told i needed to go to a different office a few neighborhoods north. So i take a second Uber to that office. Once there, right before the procedure, a staff member tells me information that causes me to decide not to have it done right then. Something that the dentist never mentioned a week earlier. She says i can reschedule to Monday and speak with the dentist then about the procedure. No thanks. At this point i just ask for my money back and take a third Uber home. Cost me half a day of work and $70 in ride share with absolutely nothing to show for it. I now have to find a new dentist office to do it on short notice. Do yourself a favor and avoid this nightmare.

American Dental is an amazing dental office. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. They take all the anxiety out of going to the dentist!

I had a great experience at American Dental today. The dentist and her colleagues are all very professional, efficient, and a joy to chat with. The facility and equipment are all modern, clean, and well-maintained. Overall, I am very satisfied with the results, and I think this is a great place to get dental work done. On a side note - I do not currently have dental insurance coverage, but I think that even the out-of-pocket costs here are very reasonable and affordable.

I saw Dr Zinzalet for a cleaning and filling. On both visits the entire staff was kind and helpful. I never waited for more than 10 minutes, even when I arrived early for my appointment.

I am absolutely terrified of the dentist and I avoid going at all costs. However, all the staff and Dr. Rachel treated me with kindness and patience. They were very gentle and considerate when doing X-rays and the teeth cleaning. It was a wonderful experience overall! I would recommend anyone with fears of dental work to check out this office!

Moved to Chicago this past summer and dragged my feet in finding a new dentist. My girlfriend referred me to American Dental and from the moment you walk into their office to when you leave, you are treated with top service and state of the art equipment/technology. Front desk quickly registered me and then the hygienist whisked me away to get my x-rays that takes wide range of panoramic images while you stand in front of it and the machine whirls around you. Dr. Rachel Zinzalet was amazing. Spent time talking to me, checking my teeth, never rushing to get in and out. I decided to buy teeth whitening and figured i'd have to bite down on a nasty mold that would taste horrible and gag me. Nope, not this dentist office. They had a device that captured your teeth and when done it is sent automatically to the offsite co that created my teeth whitening mouth piece. Came back in less than a week and the mouth piece fit like a glove. I am happy to say I've found my new dental practice and actually am looking forward to my cleaning in 6 months.

First time patient and will be back for the long run. Jackie and Dr. Rachel Z were extremely friendly and personable. I would recommend to anyone local to Chicago looking for a new Dentist!

I was so nervous before my appointment because of COVID and the fact I had not seen a dentist in over two years. I cannot express how happy I am to have found this office. The staff is very welcoming and the office is spotless. Dr Rachel and the Dental Hygienist had no problem answering all my questions and made me feel completely comfortable. Dr Z has been great to work with. She listens and explains. The results have been very good (and pain free). She tries to get the best estimate of costs before starting. It took a while to find a good one. I'll want to hang on to her.

Great experience, the people are amazing and the facilities are brand new (massaging chair!). Everyone was very nice and not judgemental about me not being to the dentist in over a year (covid...). I ended up with a couple of cavities..one ending in a root canal, but I know I'll be taken care of. Highly recommend.

This place is awesome, the dental chairs have back massagers in them and the staff was really prompt and friendly. No waiting before or during the appointment.
